Summary: Dark comes back to Daisuke secretly at night. Daisuke doesn't know how it happens, but it just does. Daisuke is happy but feels like he's letting Riku down while Dark sees him.

There they were, together in Daisuke's room. Dark looked the same as usual as he held the red headed boy in his arms. Daisuke Niwa was a carrier for the older teen and had grown slightly attached to Dark. The great phantom thief, Dark, was now freed but from what and who was still a mystery to Daisuke but for some reason, had to be kept a secret from his family and friends. Every night, Dark would visit the boy who had now grown two years older but still had the same features. His relationship with Rika was slowly drifting but it was also like a roller coaster ride. Dark just happened to come by when it was going downhill instead of up.

"So what are you doing with your life?" The man let Daisuke go and sat down on the small couch that had been sitting in Daisuke's room for quite some time ever since he had been 'part' of Daisuke.

"Well...mom thinks I should become a writer and write about you, as for Rika, she thinks I should be an artist and make my artwork go worldwide"

"Is that so? Daisuke...did you miss me at all?"

"What kind of question is that, of course I did. It feels a little lonely when I'm at school, even though miss Harada is there to talk and walk with me but...it's not the same when you were with me I-"

"Enough, Daisuke. I get it, you missed me. But do you love me?" Dark looked up at Daisuke with a serious look.

"Dark, what are you talking about, of course I don't! My heart belongs to Rika. There's no way I could fall in love with a guy"

"It happens everywhere else, why not here?"

"Because...mom wants more than one grandchild and she's expecting me to carry on the family line"

"So if it were only tonight...would you let me kiss you?" Daisuke blushed and nodded while he climbed up the short ladder.

Dark waited for him to be under the covers and leaned over the teen. His arms rested on the bed while his feet kept him from falling by standing on the bed below him. Dark smiled as Daisuke closed his eyes and awaited the small kiss.

Dark leaned in closer and kissed Daisuke's closed eyelids.

"Dark...is this your last night here?" Dark let out a sigh.

"Unfortunately yes, sorry kid. Krad would wake up again if I'm not there to keep him still"

"I'm sorry Dark...that I...said I didn't love you"

"I understand, I wouldn't love me either if I were you. Well, I got to go" Dark jumped off of the bed and landed soundly on the wooden floor.

"Hey Dark?"

"What is it?"

"Will I ever see you again?" Dark looked outward at the night sky.

"Who knows" With that, Dark was gone and was now flying back to wherever it was he came from.
