Ode to Doctor Who

Since 1963 you've been around,

Saving Earth one super evil race at a time.

Through the ages you've traveled,

Totaling nine hundred years and ten different faces.

Now you're alone, the last of your kind,

So you cling to your companions, now more than ever.

With your ninth incarnation finding

Rose, the beautiful Rose,

Whom you've loved and lost due to those evil Daleks.

Those darn Daleks! They've taken everything from you,

But still you persevere,

Traveling through the galaxy,

Sometimes alone,

Sometimes not,

But you never forget,

Your beautiful Rose.

Like you never speak of Sarah Jane and K-9,

Or yourself and your people,

You never speak of Rose

Because it hurts too much.

But I know your feelings,

I really do, my dear Doctor,

I know how you feel,

Because I love you, too.

(Platonically, of course.)
