To my readers: Anton Yelchin. Damn. Like so many of you, I was stunned and horribly saddened to hear the news of his death yesterday, and so much of me is still trying to process the reality of it.

Hearing it, of course, made me realize how long I've been putting off updating this story. It really sucks because Chekov—based on Yelchin's portrayal—is eventually going to be a major character in this story. That being said, I do not intend to change what I had already planned when I first set out with this work. As a tribute to Anton Yelchin, I intend to keep working on this story, and will hopefully make good on doing some damn updates more frequently. My readers, I do apologize for leaving you hanging for so long.

At this time, I actually want to go back and do my revisions/edits now. This is because after a great deal of growth over the past few years, I want to reconfigure some POVs, give a little more detail into Lauren's life on Earth, and make things stronger as a whole. Plus, since I've finally taken up violin myself, I want to give a little more authenticity and insight into how Lauren plays. :)

To start this out, I have revised Chapter 1 of this story, and it has been posted. Each time I revise/edit an existing chapter, I will make sure I make it known.
