Part One - June 6, 1847
Bella watched as Edward approached her on the back of a white stallion. It was almost nightfall by now, but Bella could see his silhouette perfectly, not one impairment in her vision. He looked even paler under the impending moonlight, Bella the same. Edward blended in with the horse, only his clothes distinguishing the difference between them. It was quite picturesque, the view. Bella wasn't one to look through or around the beauty of something, but rather take it for what it was.
He was closer now, Edward. Mere feet from where Bella was standing on her porch. When the horse got to the steps, Edward slipped off the animal gracefully and, in a flash, appeared in front of Bella with a gleaming smile. She blinked slowly, a smile gracing her features in return.
"Hello, my love," Edward greeted softly, voice too quiet to be heard by anyone other than the girl stood in front of him. He admired her elegance, the way she held herself, and the natural lure of her scent, skin, and hair as she reached up towards his face to run a delicate hand across his cheek in welcome.
