Ahahahahaha look at this!!! I am writing HET!!! I don't write HET! There is a rip in the space time continuum, my town has been taken over by the deer, and aliens really did rape my English teacher and she's not insane. Oh, and it's Bailey's birthday too… She asked me to write a SoulMaka fic for her…She also asked our other friend (my usual Beta), who is apparently having issues with this request…
Disclaimer: I'm not making money off this. I don't own Soul Eater, hell I don't even own my own BRAIN right now.
Without further ado…I present my attempt at SoulMaka…heavy emphasis on attempt…

"Stupid Dad," Maka grumbled under her breath, slamming her text book closed. "If he hadn't tried to get Professor Stein to 'dissect' us in a different way I wouldn't be thinking like this!" She paced back and forth in front of her bed, brooding over today's class.
Her idiot father had convinced Stein to pick apart their brains. Their new assignment was to write an essay about all the qualities they'd discovered in their partner since they paired up, and what they thought of them now.
Maka flopped face down onto her bed. An essay. An essay about Soul Eater Evans, the cool, direct, secretive, stubborn, perverted, idiot that was her partner.
Of course she could just write how he taught her to open up and be more than just a bookworm, or how he was willing to give his life for her, or well, there were a lot of things she could write about.
She pulled herself up so her weight rested on her elbows and looked over at the picture of their little group of friends resting on her nightstand. Marie-sensei had taken it after one of their basketball games.
Usually Maka wouldn't think twice about writing a report for school, even one about her weapon, but the problem was Maka Albarn had a developed a crush on her partner.
She sighed, "If I don't, my essay will turn out bad. If I lie, Professor Stein will know. Urgh!" she buried her face in her pillow, "Why me?"

"Okay, now that your essays are finished, Stein-sensei and I thought it'd be fun for you to trade them with your partners and read them." Marie-sensei smiled up at the class.
Maka's pupils pinpointed. No. No, no, no, no, no. This could NOT be happening. She buried her face in her hands, distraught. Why did everything about this report have to work against her? Taking a deep breath she stood up and handed Soul her essay. He slid hers across the desk's surface at her, snagging the paper about him from her hands.
She sat back down, butterflies now whirling madly I her stomach. Her hand pulled the paper Soul wrote to her line of sight. She looked at the clock. Ten minutes.
"Okay, Maka, you can do this." The whisper barely left her lips but it seemed to echo in her mind as she carefully read each word of Soul's essay. It was typical of Soul's writing, part of her said, just enough to get by without really doing much.
The bell rang, but she still sat there. Everyone started moving towards the door, eager to leave. Soul still sat in his seat next to her. Maka stood up sharply and walked around Soul to start down the stairs when a hand grabbed hers. She turned to look at Soul, swallowing the multitude of emotions in her throat..
"Confessing in an essay is totally not cool." Soul's other hand reached in to brush back some of Maka's bangs and cup her cheek. Slowly he leaned in and placed a chaste kiss on the meister's lips. Then he was walking down the stairs, a hand raised in a wave over his shoulder. "Are you coming? I'm going to look uncool if I walk around without my girlfriend."
