Diclaimer: I don't own Sonny with a Chance, etc.

Chad's POV

How am I ever going to be able to memorize all of these names and faces?

Okay, let me explain. The Mackenzie Falls cast is hosting a charity event tonight, so we all have to study up about our guests to avoid awkward oh-shoot-I-forget-your-name moments. I have no problem memorizing lines; it's one of the little things that culminate into my being as a great an actor as I am. But, all egos aside, I'm not so great at memorizing people's faces and names.

The cards all have a small picture of the person, their name, and then a quick fact, like 'Just got engaged last month' or 'Just got signed onto Jive Records.'

As I flip through the cards, all the faces and names blend together and my eyes are starting to glaze over. But then I see some familiar faces and I snap out of my half sleep. The cast of So Random!

Hey, I didn't know that Nico and Grady are the faces for Blade Scooters and Skateboards. Can they even skate?

Oh, and Tawni has just signed on to be in a movie with Hannah Montana?

So, that girl with the pigtails' name is Zora? (I told you I'm not so hot with the names… but just with names!)

Eh, so I guess these cards are kind of useful and, well, it's kind of fun reading them about people I sort of know.

I then flip to the next card and encounter the smiling face of Sonny Monroe. The card read:

Sonny Monroe: America's sweetheart (after a short falling out of favor when an unflattering video of her was shown on a popular gossip show); recently did a cover for Seventeen magazine.

Oh, this card doesn't know the half of it. It doesn't do her justice.

It doesn't say that I was the reason for that unflattering video, or that in that interview with Seventeen she mentions our "complicated, interesting relationship."

We do have a complicated, interesting relationship. Filled with secret feelings and strong barriers, shield, facades. Well, at least on my part.

The card doesn't capture our ups and our down. The way I feel I can let my guard down around her, but then I freak out and insult her the next second, 'cause I'm not quite ready to take away the walls I have worked so hard to put up.

It doesn't capture her cute.

The card should read:

Sonny Monroe:

America's sweetheart, and the girl you wish you could keep all to yourself, away from the prying eyes of America.

The girl you want to show your nice side too, not just in quick moments, but all the time.

The girl who brightens up your day, even when you two are just arguing.

The girl who eventually gets you to do what you originally refuse to.

The girl who's too cute for words.

The girl you are dying to kiss.

The girl you want to tell how you feel.

The girl you know you can't tell how you feel. Not yet.

The girl who you want to return your feelings.

The girl who is the only reason you are excited about this party.

The girl who you will spend a good part of the night annoying just to be close to her. You guys will dance your dance, spit the insults back and forth, but you'll leave the conversation smiling from being together.

The girl who you hope is smiling as she walks away, as well.

The girl who will make you look over your shoulder to get one last glimpse of her before you walk away.

The girl who makes you think that maybe you are ready to tell her after all.

That girl.

Yeah, that's what the card should read.

Thanks for reading! This is my first fanfic ever, so I'd appreciate your input by way of reviews!
