'Doctor, this is wrong. I'm the President and you're a renegade. If we're caught...'
'But we won't be. And don't try and pretend you did nothing, Romana. You were the one who held your nose so you sounded ill and rang up your secretary this morning. "I'm terribly sorry, but I won't be able to make Parliament this morning, I'm feeling ill. No, don't send a doctor up, I just need some rest." That's what you said.'
'I was... confused. And deluded.'
'Whatever. You keep denying your involvement in this and it's not working. But the important thing is she fell for the excuse. Although, you could have told her you didn't need a doctor, because you've already got one...'
'Honestly, Doctor, that's not fun– Oh!'
'Romana!'
'Oh, dear.'
'See, you're not as innocent as you pretend to be, are you?'
'I... My hand slipped.'
'Sure, sure. Admit it, you've wanted to do this for a long time.'
'I'm not admitting to anything.'
'Aw, Romana...'
'Fine. I suppose it is sort of fun.'
'Sort of?!'
'Alright. Yes, I'm having fun. Are you happy now?'
'Yes! Finally! Now, let's see what's happened...'
They peeked over the edge of the balcony overlooking the antechamber where the morning session of parliament was taking place. Chancellor Omnicron was covered in water, and scraps of red rubber were lying on the ground.
'You got the Chancellor!'
'He deserved that, the bigoted misogynist. He looks ridiculous.'
The Doctor snickered. 'Excellent.'
They ducked back down again and the Doctor passed Romana a green water balloon, while he took a yellow one.
'One... two... three!'
They hurled them over the balcony. Moments later there was a splash and cry of outrage from the politicians below.
Romana took a cautious peek. 'Ha!'
The Doctor looked over the edge. 'Oh, Rassilon. Aren't you glad you agreed to this now, Romana?'
'Fine, Doctor. Yes, I'm glad I agreed to this. In fact... Uh-oh. Vice President Enriqueshaw's not happy. I think he's sending the guards out to search the place!'
'Quick, run!'
They grabbed each other's hands and legged it out of there, laughing like mischievous schoolchildren.
