A/N: As a child of the 80's, and with this week's word…How could I not? Pure, unapologetic brotherly schmoop. As things get worse between our two boys, I just have to keep remembering the sweeter moments, and hoping for their return. Argh, it is season 5 yet? : D
Disclaimer: Dean and Sam are being used for fun, and not profit. Remember kiddies, Chuck is a p-r-o-p-h-e-t not a p-r-o-f-i-t. Anal-retentive reminder of the day.

Dean slumped into the passenger seat, weariness taking it's toll. Sam gunned the engine, putting the Pet store and its destruction behind them.
"Why would anyone buy a pet rat?"
"Still not a fan, huh?"
"Disease ridden, good for nothing-"Dean mumbled, desire for sleep jumbling his coherency. "Get something else like, I dunno, turtle or something." He snorted as the image jogged his memory. "Rats and turtles. Splinter was awesome though." Dean smiled tiredly at his brother. "You had one of those happy meal action figures, think it was Donatello, when you were about two. You chewed on that thing so much- think the poor guy had lost a foot by the time Dad finally threw it out…"
Sam chuckled at the story, then gave his half-awake brother a bemused grin. "How do you do that?"
"Hm?"
"Have a memory for like, every situation." He shook his head in amazement. "Seriously, I can't remember half the stuff about our childhood that you can."
"Well, dad wasn't big on writing that stuff down, and you were too little…" Dean shrugged it off, leaning his head back and closing his eyes.
"So you took it upon yourself to remember every detail of our lives for, what, 17 years?"
"Somebody had to remember the important stuff." Dean smirked, tapping the side of his head once. "I've got the whole Encyclopedia of Sam stored up there." He drifted off soon after that. Once he was sure Dean was asleep, Sam stretched one arm across the seat back, right hand resting over his brother's heart.
"Nah." Sam whispered softly, patting his sleeping brother's chest. "I think you keep the important stuff right here."

AN: So there you have it. Complete and utter sap. For anyone who has never heard of them, Dean was talking about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
