A/N:Hey guys! As promised I have actually written a new chapter! Please please please give me reviews, I need as much feedback as possible! I know this chapter is super short but I will have a longer one written by the end of the week! I just wanted to upload something and get feedback. Favorite, subscribe, and all the good stuff! Also still looking for a beta reader if anyone is interested. Thanks for still being such wonderful readers after all of these years!

Amber smirked at our reaction and leaned back in her chair, obviously relieved and more comfortable.

"I thought that might get your attention," she said smugly.

Rebecca and I quickly glanced at each other and realized we'd lost the upper hand for a moment.

"The football coach is probably having just as much luck convincing Fang as you are having convincing us. Not much," Rebecca said as she gathered her things and stood up to leave.

"Nice talking to you Ashley," I said as I headed towards the door with Rebecca.

As Rebecca and I headed in the general direction of the lockers, I tried to wrap my mind around everything that had happened so far: The kiss – or make out session rather – between Fang and I, seeing Rebecca grab Fang's hand (she sure seemed pretty excited herself when Amber mentioned Fang being on the football team), and of course the competition unfolding between Aiden and Fang.

"So," I said turning my attention back to Rebecca and trying not to scowl "You and Fang seem pretty close."

Her cheeks flushed as she looked down. "Not really."

Not really my butt. "Yea well he doesn't talk to people very often so the fact that he talked to you makes you guys close," I said trying, and failing, to keep the hostility out of my voice.

"We really just talked about you," she said looking up at me.

"What about me" I asked sounding slightly less aggressive.

Rebecca was about to answer but she looked up and saw both Aiden and Fang standing at their lockers and shook her head, deciding that this conversation was one better saved for a later time. As we stopped in front of the guys, the tension in the air was obvious and uncomfortable.

"Rebecca," Fang said cutting the silence "what are you doing after school today?"

No. I glared at Fang knowing where he was going with this. What does he think he is doing?

Rebecca looked back and forth between Fang and I obviously uncomfortable. "Umm nothing I guess," she answered hesitantly.

"Why don't you walk with me afterwards and grab some ice cream?" Fang said innocently, but not fooling anybody.
