Hey guys! This is my first fanfic and it's just a one-shot. But I would love it if you everyone reviewed n tell me what you thought.

This is just a one-shot drabble thing about Alec and Magnus, my two favorite characters in the Mortal Instruments series.

I don't know when I started falling for him.

Maybe it was love at first sight.

Maybe it was when he first showed me that other side of him besides the party boy warlock with glittery hair. When it was just the two of us in his Brooklyn apartment two nights after we met.

Or when he saved my life from the Greater Demon.

Or maybe I never really knew until that first time we made love.

But you know, it doesn't matter now. What matters now is the highlighted dark haired warlock sleeping peacefully next to me. Really naked. (But I shouldn't dwell on that little fact.)

I've finally accepted myself for who I am.

I told my parents who were surprisingly supportive. In Idris, when I just came out with it to get it all over with and said, "Mom, dad, this is Magnus Bane, the man I'm in love with."

I expected shocked looks, gasps, unapproved and disappointed glances from my parents, but what I got *correction* what we got were huge hugs from my mother with that proud, excited, glowing mom look. My dad smiling, nodding his head reassuringly, handshakes all around. After introducing Mag formally, he left us for some time to ourselves.

"Don't let him go, Alexander," mom said," You two look at each other with such love that people go an eternity searching for."

"So you don't care? That im gay, I mean." I still needed to ask.

It was my father who answered to my surprise. "Alec, all we want is your happiness and he clearly makes you happy. You don't know how proud we are of you. We wouldn't care if Magnus was a fish! But if he were Forsaken, then we might have a slight problem.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"But young man," my mom chimed in, "I'm disappointed that you didn't tell us much sooner."

I looked down sheepishly.

"But ill gladly forgive you after you start bringing him around much more so i can get to know him."

Oh by the angel, i can just imagine the two of them plus Izzy plotting against me. Trying to get me into that designer suit.

"Thank you. Both of you."

I found Magnus with the rest of my family a few minutes later, Jace, Clary, Izzy, Simon, Maia. I went up to him, kissed him full on the lips, with him laughing and smiling and my family beaming at us. I thought, Let everyone look and whisper. Let them know I fell in love and I don't care what they think.

Jace just hit me like any brother would and said, "Its about time, bro."

Magnus stirred beside me on his canary yellow bed and brought me back from my reminiscing.

"Honey?" he said with sleep still in his voice.

"I'm right here," I said back.

He turned around, snuggled into my side, whispered I Love You and went back to dream land.

Ill be here and love you for the rest of eternity.
