Renesmee
I danced through the door, sighing to myself. As I entered my family's house, I caught sight of myself in the mirror. My cheeks were flushed and my long curls had escaped from my hair elastic, but it didn't matter. I was too happy to care!
'Hello, Ness,' smiled Grandma as I danced past her. She and Gramps were sitting on the couch reading together.
'Hi, Gran! Hi, Gramps!' I grinned. I waved at my Aunts Alice and Rosalie as I passed them, and punched Uncle Emmet, who was playing Xbox, on the arm. He took a playful swipe at me, but I ducked away and took off, grinning. Uncle Jasper was on his computer and smiled at me as I passed him. I knew he could tell how happy he was, but he wasn't going to ask why. That's one of the great things about my Uncle J.
I ran out the back door and jumped the river, running to the cottage where my parents and I lived.
'Hello!' I called, pushing the door open. Mom and Dad were in the living room, watching TV and making out. Normally that made me want to throw up, but today I was so happy I merely rolled my eyes at them.
'Hello, Renesmee,' smiled Mom, pulling away from Dad. 'How are you? Well, obviously you're quite happy about something. Care to share it?'
I shrugged, which really meant, 'No way!'
Dad stared at me for a moment, then looked back at Mom. 'Jacob kissed her for the first time.'
'Dad!' I shrieked. 'That's none of your business!'
He shrugged, mimicking me.
'I hope he asked your permission first,' Mom said seriously.
'Yeah, course he did,' I said quickly. That was all I was going to give away. There was no way I was going to tell my parents about how Jacob had picked me up from school in his car and we'd driven to La Push. They didn't need to know about how Jacob and I were walking barefoot along the sand when he'd turned to me, whispered, 'Ness, can I...' and then we'd kissed. And it was none of their business that we'd stood like that for half an hour, our arms around each other and our lips moving softly...
A sound interrupted my flashback. I snapped out of it and looked up to see Dad growling.
Crap.
'Dad, stay out of my head!' I snarled. 'That's none of your business!'
He continued to growl, while Mom sighed.
'He wasn't rough with you, was he?' she asked me. 'Because the first time he kissed me, he was very rough and it wasn't very nice at all. In fact, I punched him and I broke my hand, so it really wasn't that good at all.'
'You broke your hand from punching him?' I snorted. Then something clicked. 'Wait a minute! What do you mean, the first time he kissed you?!'
'Um... It was before you were born, when I was still human.' Mom looked guilty, while Dad's arm tightened around her. I knew he didn't like Jacob, so the thought of him kissing Mom must have been an ugly one.
'But that's disgusting!' I protested. 'He would have only been... Oh, yeah, werewolves don't age. But still, that's gross!'
'We were quite close,' Mom admitted. 'He and your dad fought over me at one stage.'
I felt my eyes pop. 'TOO MUCH INFORMATION!' I screamed. 'This is hideous! You mean I've been making out with one of my mom's castoffs? Urgh! I am going to have a serious talk with that guy, or wolf, or whatever!'
I stormed out of the room, muttering about what I was going to do when I next saw Jacob.
My good mood was destroyed. Having a dad who can read your mind really sucks.

Bella
We watched as our daughter left the room, her fists clenched with anger as she cursed Jacob.
I turned to face Edward, who had a massive smirk on his perfect face.
'You're enjoying this, aren't you?' I asked him.
'Hmmm... Maybe.'
