"Are you sure we're allowed to be here?"

"Can't see why not. After all, we painted the damn thing!"

Troy flicked a switch at his side, causing the house lights in the school auditorium to glow faintly. He grinned sheepishly as Ryan Evans, the nicer of the Evans' twins, very consciously walked around the large moon that had been created for the musical.

For a moment, Troy felt slightly guilty for luring Ryan here, especially given the boy's adorable protests against trespassing, but quickly put those thoughts at the back of his mind.

"It's so different, when there's no-one else here..."

Ryan's voice seemed quiet, even in the deserted room, and Troy found himself straining to catch the words as they were uttered. Adjusting his hat, Ryan turned to face Troy, a small smile gracing his lips.

"So why are we here?"

Troy gave a small smile in return and flicked the switch again, plunging the room into darkness. He slowly moved towards Ryan, seeing only by the pale light shining in from the window and gently grasped the boy's hands, grinning as the boy gave a slight jolt of surprise.

Leading the boy backwards, Troy sandwiched him against the moon, pressing his body close to the blonde's lithe frame, and pressed a small button wired to the reverse of the moon mural. Instantly, hundreds of little fairy-lights lit around the pair, surrounding them in a make-believe land of stars.

Ryan grinned at the sudden illumination, in awe the beauty of the Twinkle Towne set, and looked into Troy's dark eyes.

"It's... amazing..."

Troy lowered his head slightly, his lips meeting Ryan's, before pulling away momentarily. He noted the boy's blushing face and loving gaze.

"I love you, Ryan..."

"I love you too."
