He shouldn't be this nervous today. He'd faced worse situations as a Marine, as a cop, but today had to be the most nerve wracking day of his entire life. More nerve wracking than the day he heard that "officer down, shots fired" call over the radio, worse than the bombing that had severely injured Flack, worse than 9/11.

He had probably produced enough sweat today to beat a world record. But, the moment he saw her walking through those chapel doors, the world seemed to just fade away. He some how made it through the ceremony without making a fool of himself. When the priest said,"You may now kiss the bride", he carefully lifted her veil, and looked into those emerald eyes, and kissed her like there was no tomorrow.

Later that night, he carefully carried her gently through the door to their hotel room, and set her down on the bed. As he leaned down to kiss her, Mac's alarm rang.
