A/N: My muse came back, I attempted humor, and the world ended. I'm waiting for the flying pigs now.

At first Sakura chalked it up to stress, then she reconsidered and blamed it on hormonal dysfunction but that explanation was eventually paved over to make room for sexual frustration and the whole 'I'm-running-off-with-a-child-predator-getting-stronger-and-pwning-your-asses-rawr' sorta thing. That had to be it. Really. Or maybe she'd snapped, which was really a much more plausible reality than Uchiha Sasuke asking-

"I said, 'Where do babies come from'?"

Sakura's heart made a break for her mouth.

"Um, er," was her intelligent response as she stuffed her vital organs back in place. "Is this some sort of sleazy new pickup line?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes; Sakura grandly resisted the urge to smite him.

"Naruto was talking about it. Y'know, boy and girl? Man and woman?"

Sakura shuffled her feet awkwardly and found a new staring place by Sasuke's right ear.

"Yeah, so I thought that I needed to know all about this stuff. For the clan and all."

"And?"

Sasuke stared and stared and stared; and then he snorted, rolled his eyes, and gave her an 'you're an idiot' look. She shot him an ugly glower and mentally ripped up his Christmas presents. And his Easter chocolates, too, for good measure.

"You're the student of a genius medic. Didn't you learn anything?"

Sakura takes prides in the fact that it's her turn to snort now. "Nothing that you need to know. Nothing that you don't already know."

Sasuke glares. "I'd think I'd have the right to know what part of the hospital my kids are stuck in after they're born."

This time Sakura stares. "What?"

Sasuke doesn't seem to hear her. "Well, I need to know where to pick them up." He glances at her at stomach pointedly. "I don't think you'd be in any condition to do it."

Her mouth opens to fire off a nasty retort, but the gears in her head turn when she turns over his words.

"…What makes you think it's more than one?"

Sasuke grins, and it's an Uchiha-bastard grin. "Uchiha have a history of twins."

Sakura runs for the door.
