Ok so it's been 2 years since I last wrote, and today I finally had the inspiration to write again. Mostly probably because I'm bored.
900 years ago:
The wolf crouched low to the ground, her paws dancing anxiously in the mud. She watched through the bushes as the being stood perfectly still, ears perked, muscles taut and eyes searching slowly across the dense green forest. The animal gave a sense of pride and fearlessness as he stood there with his gleaming white antlers held high and his shiny buckskin pelt. As he began to walk, his body displayed a graceful ballet, for his movements were so light and rehearsed that they enhanced the beauty of the forest.
He would make an excellent meal the wolf thought.
The wolf slowly inched forward, making sure to make as little noise as possible. Her belly ached and her mouth watered at the mere thought of being able to clamp her jaw on his muscular neck and feel the warm blood sooth her aching throat and teeth.
As he bent down to graze, his body always prepared for danger, she leaped from her position and gave chase to the buck as he jerked his head up and prepared himself for a battle. Any other deer would have ran, but not him, he was too proud and too magnificent to display such cowardness. The wolf admired his courage almost enough to find a different meal, but she was too hungry. The dance had begun.
He leaped in the air, showing grace as he prepared to defend. The wolf lunged to catch with her teeth, but he danced away. That tease. It was beautiful as they danced their tango of death. He was so poised and never missed a beat, but if you don't practice enough, eventually you make a mistake. As he leaped one finally time, he landed on a rock and broke his leg. He cried out with such pain and dread as he fell to the ground in agony. He looked up at the wolf, eyes filled with acceptance.
He knew what was to become of him, and he accepted his role in fulfilling his duty in the circle of life. He knew all good things must come to an end, for Mother Nature had watched him sense the moment he was born from his mother's womb for he was the envy of every creature. As he grew in power and in strength, she began to fall in love. She watched as he ignored the does who desperately wanted to bear his fawn, for they desired the strongest and most beautiful sire.
She became so overpowered with love, it began to develop into hate. For she wanted to keep him to herself, and the only way to do that was to rip him from the world. But as she watched the mighty buck fall, she began to cry. Her tears rained down on the buck and the wolf. She watched as the wolf closed her jaw around his neck and she began to cry even more. She regretted what she felt and decided to reborn him into the stars.
She grabbed his soul and kissed him. His soul shot up into the sky and a shape of a buck appeared, twinkling with the same pride and magnificence as when he was in his mortal body. His name was Chale, for he was strong and youthful.

Bella's POV:
I opened my eyes to find my face nuzzled in the belly of a deer carcass. I looked down at my body to find my pale pink skin dyed with blood.
I sat up and looked around. I was in the middle of the forest. I smiled as the memories of running and leaping through the forest began to fill my head. I loved the feel of the wind in my fur as I ran to the smell of a delicious smelling deer nearby.
I heard the sound of a gushing river and figured that I better take a bath in case a hunter stumbles upon me so that they only think I'm crazy for not wearing clothes and not think I'm crazy and a murderer.
I took my time cleaning myself, it felt so good. I dipped my head under water and looked around. Just ahead was a fish gapping at me. It had never seen a human before I'm guessing. As I breached the water, I ran my hands over my hair to run the excess water off.
I froze as I sensed a pair of eyes watching me. I ducked myself down until only my head was above water and slowly raked my eyes across the forest floor. I came in contact with the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Wolf eyes. Those deep blue eyes were filled with desire and passion as they watched me. My breathing slowed down and my heart started to race as I began to feel a pool gather in my lower region. The tension between us was so thick, I felt like I was suffocating.
I've never felt such desire for a pair of eyes like that. In fact, I've never felt passion like that for anyone. I desperately wanted to see who it was, but all of a sudden the blue eyes disappeared and I was left looking at a green bush.
Wishing that the wolf would come back, I stepped out of the water and began to shift into my other form. I stuck my nose in the air, to try and smell the creature that watched me with such lust but all I could smell is the stench of rotting meat, plants, small little bunnies who should be hiding, and the smell of fresh clean water.
Filled with disappointment, I ran through the forest smelling my way to my house. It took me a good thirty minutes before I reached the edge of the forest right next to my home. I shifted and bounded up the steps, hoping to god Charlie wasn't home.
I slowly crept into the house and sneaked through the living room. I smelled the air, finding nothing but the residue of gunpowder from Charlie's clothes, wood, dirty socks and steak rotting in the fridge. He wasn't home.
I sighed with relief and went up the stairs and into my bedroom. I was so tired, I barely had time to put clothes on before I crashed.
Unknown to her, the same pair of blue eyes that were watching her earlier watched as she crept into the house. The wolf would have her, she was his mate.
