Kenji stood in front of the door, pleading with his son. "You can't leave just wait please"

"Move! I told you I have plans tonight" the teen hissed

Ikuko sat in her chair rubbing her temples. "Please Kenji just let him go" she begged. "Must we really argue over this again!"

"I just need you both to relax, there is a reason I need you to stay here"

"Nothing you say will make me want to stay in this house with you longer then I have too!"

Kenji sighed, "Why do you hate me so much?" the father stared at his son, tears filling his eyes. "Is it because I sent your sister away?"

"Can we not talk about this please" Ikuko begged standing for the first time, holding the wall for support. "just let him leave"

"Mom's right, just let me go"

"I know that I put the two of you through hell sending her away, and I'm sorry- if you would just give me a Moment-I'm trying to make it up to you"

"There's no way you can make it up to us, what are you going to do rewind time and make a better decision?!" Shingo hissed "You sent her away, you made her leave! She was your daughter and my sister, she had a child, a child we will never get to see or know because you were so blinded by your anger!" he stepped closer to his father "And now you want forgiveness? To fix the family you broke" he laughed "No going to happen now move out of my way!" he yelled. At that moment a knock came to the door.

Sighing, Kenji looked to his angry son and tired wife. "I found Serena" there was a gasp from Ikuko, shingo took a step back. "Your lying" he whispered. Shaking his head, Kenji pointed to the door as another knock came through. "That's her…unless the neighbors called the police, either way she is here or on her way…so please can you both just give me that moment I have been asking for?"

They nodded slowly, Kenji turned and opened the door. Serena and Darien looked at the older man, "We heard the yelling from the driveway…if this is a bad time we can come back" she said before Kenji was pushed aside. "Serena?"

Her eyes watered at the sight of her younger brother. "Shingo?" she whispered. "little Sam?" he nodded his eyes watering as well. The two pulled each other into a tight embrace, Serena holding her brother tightly as he cried into her neck. "You've grown" she whispered pulling him at arm's length. "wow" she shook her head. "Your taller than me"

"I see you still wear the meatballs" he touched her hair gently. "I…I…" shook his head. "Please don't leave my life again" he said before she grabbed him into her embrace once more. "Oh Sam, never…no matter what happens tonight you and I will never part" she whispered "Promise"

Darien leaned against the door frame allowing the siblings to have their moment. Looking up he watched as Ikuko covered her mouth with her hands holding back her sob. Soon the wait was too much for her to bare and she fell to her knees. Shingo and Serena both turned to their mother rushing to her side. "Mom?" Serena whispered as the woman touched her daughters face with her hands. "You're really here?" she asked, her eyes wild with hope. "Please tell me your really here" she asked again as Serena nodded her head rapidly.

"I-I'm here…mama" at the word Mama, Ikuko lost her grip on her sanity and pulled the blond into her chest and held her tightly, crying out her apologies and rocking the woman in her arms back and forth. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she whispered repeatedly. "Oh god my baby" she cried out. Serena managed to lift her head and hold the woman to her. Running her hands through her mother's graying hair she said gently into her ear, "I'm right here mama, I'm not going anywhere." Once the mother calmed down, she pulled away touching her mother's cheek before turning to Darien. "Can you check her out please?"

Darien nodded, carrying his medical bag toward the woman knelt down. Before he could open it, she topped his hands, grabbing hold of them tightly. "Mama Darien is a Doctor, let him check on you. Dad said you haven't been well"

Ikuko ignored her daughter, her eyes stared into Darien's sternly. "I owe you a deep apology, one that I can never fully express. I took away a precious time for you" she looked between the two "obviously, you were both made for one another and for that…I will never forgive myself for" Darien, knowing the sincerity of her words nodded tapping her hands gently. "I'll forgive you if you let me examine you" he gave her a small smile. Ikuko nodded, covering her mouth with her other hand as to stop the cry from escaping.

Putting his things away, he looked down at the woman who lay sleeping on the couch. "She's emotionally drained" he looked to Serena, "She needs her rest." He turned to the rest of the house "I'm sure with this new peace between our family and yours that she will eventually make a full recovery. To be on the safe side, I'd like to give her a prescription to help with the depression and anxiety. I don't really like the pills they have her on now. They aren't really made for a woman her age. These" he wrote and signed the script "will react with her body better, you should see a change in her demeanor for the better with in a day or so"

Kenji took the script and bowed to the man. "thank you"

Serena touched her brother's cheek. "It's been a pretty emotional night for us all" she whispered. Sighing she turned back to her father. "Thank you for finding me"

"I wish things could have been different…that I would have acted different…made different choices"

Serena shook her head. "If you would have said this to me earlier then I would have agreed, however…I had a nice long talk with a very special friend, you could say he's like another brother to me" she winked at Shingo, "He reminded me that if it wasn't for what happened, as heart breaking as it must be, I wouldn't have the people I have now in my life" she smiled thinking about the four men she meet and befriended in America, how they became more than just friends, but her family. Most importantly finding a brother, a long lost brother from her days as Serenity on the moon. How Nick and her were given a second chance at life, a life they could spend together. "Now" she looked toward her sleeping mother, "we just need to rebuild the pieces." She looked to her watch. "This weekend, we'll be having a BBQ at my house…the house you came to this morning" her father nodded. "You should all come…"

"Does this mean we get to meet…" Kenji was nervous, he wanted to see his Granddaughter get to know the little Serena look a like

"Your granddaughter?" the older man nodded. "Yes. It will be better this way, surrounded by family and in a safe place."

"I can't wait" Shingo smiled. "I've dreamed of meeting my little niece. In fact, I've been collecting things for her though out the years under my bed"

"We'll be there" Kenji smiled, "Thank you…again…" he looked to his sleeping wife "For everything"

The group laughed as they moved about the garden. Serena touched Mina's small belly and shook her head. "I still can't believe your pregnant" she looked up at Mitchell "You're a quick worker, afraid she'd get away from you, so you had to tie her down?"

He laughed, "What can I say, my woman is a very flirtatious being" he kissed Mina's forehead. "We are both very excited"

"I'm excited for the two of you as well" she beamed. "You're going to be great parents"

Mina smiled sweetly at her friend, "Thanks Serena, I'm so happy you're here and able to share in this moment with us"

"I wouldn't be anywhere else"

"Which is why we wanted to know" Darien walked over at that moment, "will the two of you be the godparents?"

Serena gasped so excited that she dropped her drink "oh my god yes!" she squealed with Mina as they jumped together. Mitchell and Darien shook hands laughing at their partners excited behavior. "Will you two quite it down already" they turned to Rei, who glared at the two blonds. "Your making fools of yourselves."

"Awe some on Rei, let the blond twins have their moment" Nick smiled, "besides you know what they say about blonds…"

"HEY!" a group hissed walking over, "Watch it Nick unless you want to wear my drink" Jay hissed

"I'd like to think myself a rather sophisticated blond" Haruka smiled

"Me too" Motoki added, "Besides-I'd be careful what you say about the people who make your food"

Michelle laughed, as she turned her head to the opening of the back yard. "Oh my" she whispered causing the others to turn. "What are they doing here?" Haruka asked rather rudely.

"I invited them" The group turned to Serena.

"We invited them" Darien said wrapping his arms around Serena's shoulder. "So please, best behavior"

The couple walked toward the small family. "She did say they talked" Ami whispered. "It sounded as if they came to an understanding"

"Well I don't know about this"

Michelle placed a gentle hand on her lover's arm. "You have a hard time forgiving anyone who hurts our princess. Which I understand completely. However, love…if she is willing to accept them back into her life…" she looked to the rest of the group, "Then we will accept it as well"

"I'm going to stand closer" Nick said handing his drink to Lita. Nodding, the senshi of Jupiter kissed his cheek and waved him away. "We'll hang back"

Serena walked up to her family, a warm smile on her lips. "Mom, dad…Hey brat" she smiled at Shingo

"Meatball head" he grinned. "Great house" he said looking around the back yard. "Maybe I should be a Doctor"

Darien shook his head, "Actually this house belonged to Serena, she bought it when she moved back" the family looked at the blond with wide eyes.

"When Auntie died, she left me everything. After moving here, I found this place and fell in love with it." She looked around smiling."

"I'm happy for you Serena" her mother looked to her grown child in wonder. "you have grown up to beautify despite everything" she nodded tears in her eyes. "Mother hood suites you"

"Speaking of Mother hood…would you like to meet your granddaughter?" The parents both nodded "Are you sure it's okay?"

Serena nodded smiling, "she's inside watching a movie"

The pink haired child turned as her mother and father entered the room. "Pumpkin" Darien lifted the child into his arms. Ikuko gasped as she stared at the child. "This is your grandma and grandpa" Serena watched as the little girl looked to the tear filled grandparents and then back to her smiling mother. "It's okay honey, go say hello"

The little girl slowly made her way to her grandparents, climbing up on the couch she stood staring up at her grandpa who knelt down so he was he height. She touched his face and mashed it around. "You old" she said looking at him strange. The older man laughed nodding his head. Holding her hands, he smiled. "I am huh?" he couldn't believe this was his grandchild, his only most perfect granddaughter. The love he felt for this pink haired toddler was beyond words. He felt the tears fall from his eyes as he stared at her. How could he have denied her…sent this precious gift from heaven away from his life?

Rini shook her head as she threw her arms open and wrapped them around his neck hugging him tightly. "Crying means you need hug" she said holding him tightly. Kenji laughed as he lifted the girl up and held her tightly to himself. "Thank you princess" pulling away Rini looked at the older man "I wove you papa"

The man felt his tears return. "Oh, papa loves you too princess" he turned to the tearful Ikuko. "You want to meet your Grandma?" the little girl nodded turning to the woman beside him. "You are beautiful" Ikuko said grabbing her hand and kissing it. "Oh my, you are the spitting image of your mother"

"Petty hair!" Rini yelled touching his grandmother's hair. Ikuko smiled reaching into her purse she pulled out a small bag. "Grandma made you something special" the little girl looked at it and with help from her grandmother she opened it and screamed for joy. "Coocies!" she turned to her mother "Mama, Coocies!"

"Oh wow Rini, Grandma makes the best cookies!" Serena leaned into her Darien as Shingo knelt down to the now sitting toddler. "Hey kiddo, you know who I am?"

"Boy" she pointed as she munched on a cookie.

Shingo laughed, "Yea, but I'm also your Uncle Shingo, but you can call me Uncle Sammy"

Rini laughed "Unkey Nich!" she yelled. Shingo looked up at his sister confused. Serena giggled shaking her head. "She's taking about my friends outside" Shingo nodded. Looking back at the child he tried again but only got the same response. Sighing, he looked up at his sister. "Well she's defiantly your child"

"Rini" the little girl looked to her Uncle. "I got some stuff for you" the toddler was excited, Shingo pulled a book bag around and opened it. It was filled with gifts for Rini. Serena looked and gasped. "Oh Sam those are your Sailor Moon stuffed characters"

Shingo shrugged. "I thought she'd like them. I want her to grow up believing in her like I did. Sailor Moon is an excellent role model for little girls. Rini is going to be strong and brave just like Sailor Moon"

Tears filled her eyes as Darien hugged Serena close to him. "Yes she will be" kissing the top of Serena's head. The two watched as the family enjoyed their time together. Proving that no matter how broken something may be…there is still a chance to put the pieces back together again.
