Crono and Marle's Final Moment
Crono was directly in the middle of the sight of the one vicious beast that they knew they have to defeat: Lavos. While everybody besides Queen Zeal was knocked out, Crono looked at Marle who was recovering, Marle then looked at Crono and they shared a connectional moment.
In their moment, Crono and Marle was going through all the things they had went through from the time they met to now and how they would be so good together in the future.

Queen Zeal was ordering Lavos to destroy him, Crono was prepared to fight back, Marle looked at Crono with tears falling down her face.
Crono, please don't! Marle thought.
closing your eyes to disappear

Lavos was charging up his energy blast and Crono was trying to prevent it.

Lavos' Blast was shot at Crono and Marle watched as Crono was inprisoned inside the blast
"Crono, NO!" Yelled Marle.

And just in front of her she saw Crono, her boyfriend, her hero, her lover, incinerated right before her very eyes.
After that, Lavos destroyed the kingdom of zeal and the land was cleared of the storm. Marle was at a wedding with Crono they were about to get married, Then after she was cuddling with Crono, she wondered if this is a dream bacause she was having dreams about her and Crono she felt like she didn't want to leave her dreams but she woke up and found out that Crono's death was not a dream, all that she dreamt about being with Crono was just a dream and nothing more, Marle finally woke up to reality and started to cry knowing that there will be no one who can make here feel safe more than the one who she will always love forever: Crono.
