Ren stared at the tv, where he had paused the video at the point where the angel that Kyoko portrays is pushing off the devil played by Sho. His cell phone laid forgotten in his hands, as he's lost in his own thoughts. Unable to calm his worries and insecurities. Even though, he had just spoke to Kyoko about not to let herself go wild in Karuizawa. There were so many things that were left unsaid. Because, he knew that if he declares his feelings for her, she would become inconsolable and leave him. He just couldn't imagine a life without her now that she's back in his life. He won't let her go, even if she didn't know about their past together. He knew and that was enough.

He had to make sure that Sho didn't have any feelings for Kyoko, after seeing the new her. He doesn't have the right to her anymore. He doesn't have the right to have her. It's too late for him to develope anythings for her. Especially, after he used her and abandoned her. He doesn't have the rights to, doesn't he? Ren sat there just staring at the screen paused at the point of the video where the camera focused in on Kyoko angel with tears in her eyes just as the devil is about to go over the edge.

Ren didn't want to admit that the other reason he watched it was that he wanted to make sure that Kyoko didn't feel anything for the former childhood friend turned popstar. He just had to made sure that Kyoko is his and only his. That was something even he didn't want to be uncertain about. He couldn't put himself through that torture.

"For this PV, I wonder what Fuwa was thinking when he was looking at Kyoko-chan?" Yashiro had said as if to aggravate Ren by further making the comment ""Eeeh? Was she really this cute!!!" or something like that..." At the time, Ren had told Yashiro, "I'm not interested. I'll pass." But it was this comment by Yashiro, "I think that it wouldn't be surprising, if he started feeling attracted towards her.", that started the nagging seeds of doubt in Ren's heart. Ren frowned at his manager when he had said that.

He wouldn't thought about watching it, at nearly midnight, if Yashiro had not made such a big deal about it. He has a flight in three hours. It's not like he's going to sleep anyways. Ren felt the anger he had boiling up again, from the time he found out Kyoko had gone to do Sho's PV. Why did she go and do something like that. Now, he can't get the image of Kyoko being so close to Sho out of his head. Ren visibly scowled in the darkness of his apartment, lite only by the single image on the television of a tearful otherworldly winged beauty, flinging herself at the inhumanly handsome devil .

Just stop, just stop developing feelings for her. As Ren, rested his head on his hands, lost in his own world. It's too late to be sprouting feelings for her. No longer can you mess with her feelings, Sho Fuwa. Ren thought, sitting in the waiting room of the beach photo shoot on location at Okinawa. "Ren, it's your turn." called out Yashiro, as Ren stood up to head off to the shoot.
