A/N: Instead of taking forever to update, I'm going to have drabble chapters to keep the story moving.

Hermione, trying to review some classwork, glances up at some fourth years as they gleefully chatter on about a new ditty, by Peeves, as they lope into the common room. Luckily, for Hermione, it has absolutely nothing to do with what happened earlier.

"Have fun at Hogsmeade?" Severus asked by way of greeting, as he hadn't asked originally as Lucius was by her side, somewhat irritated, that day.

"It was an experience," Hermione replied noncommittally.

"Hopefully, a pleasant one," Lucius quipped as he walked up to them both from the opposite direction.

"Pleasant enough," Hermione conceded.

"I wanted to speak with you privately," Lucius cut straight to the point, looking at Hermione.

"Alright. Catch you later; Severus?" Hermione questioned as she rose to her feet. Severus nodded but took over her vacated seat.

"The room is silenced, Lucius," Hermione commented as he hadn't said much since she had snuck him into her room.

"Did you really want to talk?" Hermione asked, head tilted to the side.

"Yes, that's what I intended… but now that we are finally alone…" he trailed off with a cheeky grin.

"I don't want to talk either," Hermione huffed as she reached towards him with eager hands.
