Kagome sighed, feeling old,
Inuyasha was starting to get bold,
But she had not been in love with him for so long,
No longer was the feeling strong.
Her heart could only take so much,
and now she feared his touch,

Kagome sat on the shore,
crying more and more and becoming less sure,
why did he have to bother her?
Why did he have to pretend he loved her?

A hand touched her face and sharp claws scratched her chin,
and she looked up then,
Why did the hand follow maroon stripes,
the hand continued to wipe,
her almost forgotten tears.
Why had she lost all her fears,
as the hand gently continued to wipe away her tears?

Now on his face,
the one in which she used to wish to mace,
There was expression, where there should have been none,
And not the kind that made you run.
It was concern,
However for she was pretty sure,

Her heart clenched,
And her eyes squint,
She felt her heart expand as she looked in his eyes,
She could feel the warmth in these eyes,
She knew what this feeling was

She had fallen again,
and she didn't even care.
