Out of My League

Jacob Black Was now 17. He still had his short hair cropped short. It was somewhat messy. Ever since he had cut his hair Girls noticed him. They could tell he was different.

He had emerald green eyes that twinkled when he laughed. His hair was a shiny black and his voice was deeper.

He learned to play the guitar since he was 15. Girls swooned over him when he played and ….She was taken. He liked her ever since he was tiny.

He could tell you everything about shiny auburn hair. Her Porcelain skin.

She was beautiful.

Jacob sat under the drooping leaves of the wheeping willow tree. His guitar lay quietly beside him. He picked it up and said "Bella this is for you" as his fingers flew over the chords. The melody of the guitar and his voice melded into one.

it's her hair and her eyes today
that just simply take me away
and the feeling that i'm falling further in love
makes me shiver but in a good way
all the times i have sat and stared
as she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair
and she purses her lips, bats her eyes as she plays,
with me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say

A tear slid silently down his cheek.

as the world spins around her she laughs, rolls her eyes

cause it's frightening to be swimming in this strange sea
but i'd rather be here than on land

He closed the gap between them and kissed her.
