A/N: Why Mrs. Briggs really hates kids. I am so bored, I have posted three stories in one day. Talk about no life! Another drabble, I guess.

I know what they say about me, 'bubble but', 'spaz', and every other mean thing. I hate kids.

I hate kids for a reason though.

A good one, at that.

I especially hate Sam, Carly, and Freddie.

You are wondering why I detest these kids so much.

Freddie, he reminds me of Alexander Franklin, so smart, and has a love of technology.

Samantha, she is so tough, just like little Geneva Marie.

Carly, she's just so perfect, like little Corenda Liane.

I loved them. They were my babies.

Until, that one day.

It was a cold winter's night of 1989. Alexander was eight, Geneva was six, and Cori was two.

They went to the store just around the block from our small apartment.

There was a horrible accident.

A drunk driver had veered off the road, and had killed my children.

I felt guilty.

All the children died.

Alexander, he was so brave, when he was lying in that hospital bed, he told me, "God can take me, and I won't be mad. Just as long as he doesn't take Ginny and Cori too."

He was willing to die for his sisters. He was a brave little boy.

Just like his father.

That night, Alex went into cardiac arrest. He died within minutes.

Cori and Gen were in comas for two weeks, before I decided to take them off the oxygen.

That was19 years ago from this day.

19 years of pain and sorrow.

And 19 years of hating kids.

So here I am, walking up to these graves, with a flower for each of them.

A rose for Alex.

A lily for Geneva.

And a lilac for little Cori.

They lie here, asleep, and I picture their faces.

Alex's soft brown hair, Ginny's sweet smile, and Cori's beautiful blue eyes.

For 19 years, I hated kids.

Spencer Shay, oh he was like Alexander all grown up. Smart, funny, witty, creative.

It hurt to see him have life, and my Alex not.

19 years of this.

19 years of hating kids.

And 19 years of escape.
