Harry Potter sighed. He looked at his family before him and he was immediately grateful. He'd always wanted a family like his, since he never had one of his own. The Weasleys were always there for him but, sometimes, he wanted his parents.

"Daddy!" Lily screamed. She had red and blue hands and splashes of green all over her face, she had clearly had a fight with the paint. Harry laughed and grabbed her as she ran into his arms. He flipped her over so he was holding her like a baby and smiled.

"What have you gotten yourself into LilyPie?" She shrugged and laughed, moving her yellow finger so it rested on Harry's nose, leaving a nice blotch. He soon realized it wasn't paint, it was the different color frosting Ginny had the unfortency to some across at the store. Harry could not thought underestimate that the cookies would be delicious even without frosting. Ginny chose that moment to walk in and smile.

"Lily, I told you to go wash up." Lily hung her head in shame and Ginny smiled.

"Its okay, just go do it now." Lily jumped from Harry's embrace and laughed, running to the bathroom. Harry wrapped his arms around Ginny and sighed. "Well, we did it." Ginny smiled.

"Of course we did. We always have, there was never a doubt we would, and not a second thought we always will." Harry smirked and kissed her quickly, as the boys were on the stairs.
