A/N: My fiftieth story!!!!! Just a little Oliveter Christmas fluff!

Disclaimer: I own nothing, it's sad, I know.

"It's just mistletoe, son"

Peter sighed, and ran his hand through his short hair. "I'm just saying, Walter, this is juvenile and non beneficial to the - who am I kidding, having this conversation with you??" he sighed, "I mean, Walter, it's just not a good idea..." he looked at Olivia, "Right?"

She was almost too quick to answer. "Right. Of course. We have work to do..."

"It's a Christmas tradition, son. It's not exactly signing a marriage contract or anything."

Olivia and Peter were looking everywhere but at each other.
"Walter, it's really not a good idea for our working environment, er-"

"It never stopped you before!" Walter laughed, like a small child.

"Erm... Doctor Bishop?" Astrid said in a small voice, "Peter and Agent Dunham are not in a relationship."

For a moment they were all gagged by awkward silence.

"You mean you don't want to kiss her? I don't see why not, son, she's a very attractive young woman in the prime of her life-"

"Ok, Walter, stop talking like that!"

"And now you're displaying natural protective and jealous tendencies which would indicate you do want to kiss Agent Dunham here... not unlike the mating behaviour of the Galapagos monkey..."

"Walter!"

"Well, son, I'm just saying..."

Peter looked at Olivia, who was staring between the two of them with an amused smile. He took a deep breath. "No, Walter, I don't want to kiss Agent Dunham." Liar, the little voice in his ear whispered.
Olivia raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.
"You're a pair of Scrooges, both of you! No idea of how to enter into the Christmas Spirit! You need to be taught a lesson, I say... by the ghost of Christmas presents!"

Astrid sighed, "The ghost of Christmas present, Dr Bishop."

"That too, Asterisk. Now, I think I'll be teaching you a lesson this Christmas. I refuse... without condition... to perform the necessary tests on the parasite until you two finish the Christmas tradition!"

Neither Peter or Olivia had anything to say. Slowly, they turned to look at each other.
"It wouldn't matter..."

"It wouldn't mean anything... just a Christmas tradition..."

"Uh huh..."

And his lips were on hers, directly below the sprig of mistletoe Walter had strategically placed. For a moment the kiss was light, friendly, and then she brought her arms around his neck, somehow eased herself right up against him, and deepened the kiss, sliding her tongue into his mouth, tugging gently at his lower lip with her teeth.

From where they stood, observing, Walter and Astrid raised their eyebrows.

"You know, sometimes, Asteroid, you have to act totally insane to get anything in this world!"

And then he sauntered away. Astrid, mouth agape, unsure where to look, because Olivia and Peter seemed to be heating it up against Walter's electron microscope, decided it was time to take an early Christmas vacation.

A/N: I think something strange possibly happened with the line spacing, I need to get that sorted out.

Please give me a review guys, it's the fiftieth fic! That's a big number!
