The bathroom had always been her sanctuary, her razor, her best friend.

It'll all be over soon. she thought to herself. Clutching her relief tightly, she pulled it straight down her wrists. She felt her eyes cloud with tears as the blood began to flow. She wasn't quite sure what had brought her to this point. She let her mind aimlessly wonder over her pointless existence.

"What do you want from me?" Tidus screamed.

"I want you to come home at a certain time every night!" Yuna screamed back, "You don't spend enough time here with your son!"

"Maybe if you didn't scream so much I'd want to be here!" Tidus yelled.

"Where are you going, anyway?" Yuna demanded, "You don't really expect me to believe you're out with Wakka every night, do you?"

"Believe what you want!" Tidus spat

"Wakka's always home before ten," Yuna glowered, "So what's your exuse?"

"I go walk down by the ocean!" Tidus yelled, "Then maybe grab a drink!"

"Grab a drink?" Yuna exclaimed, "You're out drinking while I'm taking care of your son?"

"It's the only way I can stand being with you anymore! You've changed, Yuna!"

"I've changed?" She cried, her eyes boiling with anger, "What do you mean I've changed?"

"You used to be fun," Tidus seethed, his eyes smoldering, "But now all you want to do is stay home! Heck, I can barely get you out of bed anymore! Not to mention getting you in bed!"

"Maybe if you treated me better, it wouldn't be such an ordeal!"

"I don't have to listen to this!" Tidus said, throwing his arms in the air, "Don't wait up for me, I'll be back when I get back!"

Yuna felt herself getting light-headed. In a daze she pulled herself into the bathtub, watching the wave of red rage sown the drain. Closing her eyes, she felt her mind start to wonder once again.

She picked up on the third ring.

"Lulu?" Yuna cried.

"Yes?" her best friend asked, "Yuna, is this you?"

"Yeah Lu, its me." Yuna said her tears running down her face, "It's been two days, and Tidus still hasn't come back."

"Give it time," her friend said, "Men are hard-headed. He'll come back. Wakka is trying to locate him every free second he gets."

"What if he doesn't come back? What if there is someone else?" Yuna asked, "I shouldn't have yelled those horrible things!"

"He'll come back," Lulu reassured, "Tidus loves you, he just n…"

"Mommy!" a child's voice howled.

"Just a second, sweety!" Lulu called, "Don't worry, Yuna. It'll all…"

"Mommy! I need you!"

"I'm coming, honey!" Lulu said said, "Yuna, can we talk later? I need to go help Vidina."

"Yeah, sure." Yuna replied.

"Thanks." Lulu asid, before hanging up.

"You're welcome," Yuna said quietly, the dial tone ringing in her ears.

Her energy was draining. She couldn't turn back now even if she wanted too. She heard the phone ring. "Hay, this is Tidus and Yuna, please leave a message."

"Yuna?" Lulu said, "It's me. Sorry we couldn't talk that long, Vidina somehow got himself stuck into something-or-another. I have good news! We found Tidus…"

The words came from the other room, but far away. She felt herself fading out. Lulu's voice droned on.

"It seems he was picked up by the temple guards for kicking rocks of a ledge and hitting someone. He's in Luca in jail, the bone head! Apparently they wouldn't let him call anyone until he cooled off, and you weren't answering your phone. Wakka's on his way to pick him up now. He'll be home about nine tonight. Call me when you get this, kay?" You're really starting to scare me."

The room fell silent, as child and mother slept on. A lone red light blinking in the distance.
