I know you know I only own Lizzy and no one else.
Jess sat on the bench in the gazebo, quietly reading while a little girl sat next to him enjoying the scenery. She had long dark brown, curly hair, with deep light blue eyes. She appeared sweet, and kind, like most four year old girls do, but with her daddy's heir of mystery. She had her mother's smile, her grandmother's sense of humor, and blue eyes as blue as theirs. She had her grandmother's nose and could do her mother's puppy pout so well, that she could make her mother give up a few bucks.
Her pink and white coat shifted as she moved to look around. She refused to wear gloves even though it was 30 degrees out, claiming she wanted to be one with the snow. She had brown corduroy pants and brown boots to match.
Lorelai Elizabeth Gilmore (Lorelai the Fourth), brushed a strand of hair from her face and turned to her father., her feet swinging from the edge of the bench.
"Daddy, I'm hungry!"
Jess made a mental note of his page and closed his book. He looked at her.
"Lizzy, you just ate a happy meal."
"Well," Lizzy snorted with sarcasm, "I'm not happy."
Jess scoffed in amusement and shook his head.
"Let's go to Luke's then."
"Yay!" she cheered.
Her blue eyes sparkled as she jumped up and tugged on his black coat.
"Daddy, hurry," she yelled.
"I doubt Luke will run out of food before we get there," he said to her.
"Daddy..." she whined, giving him her mother's puppy pout.
"Oh," Jess groaned, obviously faking, "My legs, they feel weak."
"No," Lizzy cried.
She wrapped the little hands around his legs and tugged on his blue jeans, trying to move them.
"You know how to make my legs feel better, don't you?" he asked her.
"How!"
"You have to kiss me right here."
He pointed to his right cheek and she kissed it.
"Right here," he pointed to his other cheek.
She kissed it, then he pointed to his lips.
"And right here."
She quickly kissed his lips.
"Are you better now?"
"I don't know," Jess replied, "You tell me!"
He scooped her up and stood, carrying her over his right shoulder. She giggled as he stepped down from the gazebo and carried her towards Luke's.
"Can I have a cheese burger?"
"Whatever you want," Jess agreed.
"Coffee?" she asked.
"You're four," Jess exclaimed.
"I took a sip of mommy's," she replied, "And I'm four and three quarters!"
"Mommy let you drink coffee?" Jess asked.
"Well..."
Jess walked up the steps to Luke's and opened the door. That was a Lorelai 'well...'
"Mommy turned around to answer the phone and I drank it," Lizzy said.
He sat her on a stool at the counter.
"It was great!"
"What was great?" Luke asked.
"Coffee," Jess and Lizzy said in union.
"She drank Rory's coffee," Jess told him.
Luke put his head down in shame.
"You don't wanna be like your mother and grandmother do you?" Luke asked her.
"I think it's inevitable, Luke," Jess said, "She is Lorelai Gilmore."
"Speaking of the devils," Luke said.
Jess turned to see the Lorelai's walk towards the diner. He smiled at them, then at his daughter. No doubt about it, she was Lorelai Gilmore.
I know I have a lot of stories to update, but I made a bunch of one shots in the past few days, and I should be more concerned about those, but there is only one copy of my updated stories, and that is on my currently unusable computer that doesn't have internet in the first place. Yes, I should have made a back up copy, I'm sorry:o( but, I have a bunch of new stories, and we're working on recovering those files and getting the internet back. Until then I guess these will have to do. Again, those people angry at me for not updating...I'm Sowwy:o(
