Lunch
Neliel sure was surprise during Lunch. Ace had a full tray filled with cheeseburgers, hot dogs, French fries, corn dogs, sandwiches, fruits and a whole pie.
"Wow, you sure eat a lot Ace-kun" Orihime said gaping at Ace's tray.
"How can you still be so lean and not fat?" Rangiku asked skeptically.
"I've never seen anyone eat that much food" Neliel said in amazement.
"Ehh? He always eats like this" Grimmjow commented and took a bite of his cheeseburger. Kagome and Sango nodded in agreement. Ace finished off a cheeseburger.
"My Grandpa's an ex-marine and he taught me and my little brother how to survive and stuff in the wild. He also told us that eating is living, so we have to eat a lot in order to be a strong marine like himself" Ace said sheepishly.
"Do you want a piece of pie Nel?" He offered. Nel smiled and nodded.
"Sure Ace, that's very sweet of you" She gave him a kiss on the cheek. The girls sighed in a dreamy way. Keiko turned to Yusuke.
"Why can't you do something like that for me?" Yusuke sweat dropped.
"Uhh, you want some of my fries?" Keiko narrowed her eyes.
"I mean doing something sweet without me asking you to" Yusuke sighed.
"Okay than, you want to go see a movie with me tomorrow?" Keiko smiled and nodded.
"I would love to go"
"I hope you don't get caught Ace" Sango said worried. Grimmjow shook his head.
"No way in hell is he ever going to get caught" Kagome raised a brow.
"And how would you know?" Grimmjow smirked.
"Cuz we'll hide him in classes of the teachers that aren't such a pain in the ass" Ace frowned a little.
"But I wanted to be in Nel's classes" He pouted. Grimmjow scowled.
"I have Ms. Tia for French and Mr. Zaraki for Gym" Neliel replied. Grimmjow thought for a minute.
"Ace you can speak French right?" Grimmjow asked, giving him a bored look. Ace nodded, not getting why it's so important to know.
"You can speak French?" Ichigo asked, giving him a surprised look. Ace nodded.
"Yeah, my grandpa made me and my little bro go to a language school to learn different ones. Like French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and German" Everyone was looking at him with wide eyes.
"And you can speak them all?" Renji asked, he just couldn't believe that Ace could speak all those languages. Ace cocked his head to the side with a frown.
"Sure do. I learned them all since I was like 9. I had to or my Gramps wouldn't give me any food" Renji, Shuhei and Chad sweat dropped.
"That Grandfather of yours, is he that strict?" Uryu asked. Rangiku cut in.
"Off course he is. I mean what kind of discipline is that huh? Not giving you food until you learned all six languages! What the Hell"
"He's alright, I guess that's his way of showing me that he cares" Ace replied, wrapping an arm around Nel's waist. He leaned towards her.
"I wanted to ask you if you'd like to come over at my place and meet my Family." Ace whispered in her ear. Neliel thought for a minute.
"I'd love to but when?"
"Ehh, after school? If that's okay with you" Neliel giggled.
"I'm okay with it but can we go to my place first so I can take shower and change clothes? You can meet my brothers while I'm busy" Ace smirked, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"It's no problem for me. I'd like to meet your brothers"
"Hey Kagome, just to let you know I'm going over at Hiei's. Yukina invited me to dinner" Kagome looked at her suspicious but decided to trust her sibling.
"Okay, thanks for letting me know" Sango felt a guilty for lying to her but she has to do this. Hiei grabbed her hands, reassuring her that everything's going to be alright. She smiled at him.
'I hope I get the bottom of this'
RIIINNGGG
"Well back to class" Yusuke grumbled. Keiko slapped him at the back of his head.
"Come on"
"Well come on Rangiku or we'll be late for French" Neliel said. Ace smiled slyly.
"Can I come too?"
"Off Course you can come. I'm sure Ms. Tia won't mind" Rangiku responded before Neliel could reply. Neliel shrugged, grabbing Ace's arm and leading him towards her next class with a grinning Rangiku following behind.
"They make such a great couple" Kagome murmured to Kurama as they started to head for their class. Kurama smiled and nodded.
"But are they even a couple?" Kagome eyes widen to reality but smirked.
"Not yet but soon"
"Humphed, well at least me and Ace are taking it slow" Grimmjow remarked as he strode by them. Kagome rolled her eyes.
"Ohh please, Ace and Nel had a tongue battle at the party after they just met an hour before. I don't call that taking it slow"
"Well we are just dating, getting to know them better, inviting them to our houses. We didn't asked them the same day ' Will you be my girlfriend' like some people I live with"
"What ever Grimmjow" Kagome muttered. Grimmjow grinned, having won the argument.
French
"Bonjour Madam" Everyone greeted to their French teacher.
"Bonjour Classe" Harribel greeted, looking at every student one by one. She noticed that there was someone she doesn't recognize in her class.
"Qui sont vous?" Harribel said narrowing her eyes at Ace. He off course was unfazed by her gaze.
"Un nouvel étudiant, Madam" Ace smiled slyly. Harribel raised a brow, she doesn't recall seeing him in her class but he spoke French like it was his mother tongue.
"Ce qui est vous le nom, le jeune homme" Harribel demanded, crossing her arms and looking at him with an unreadable stare.
"Ace D. Portgas, Madam" He responded back in perfect french. Harribel took a paper from her desk drawers and looked up that name. She didn't find it.
"Vous n'êtes pas dans cette classe. Peux je demander d'être vous même de cette école? Je ne vous ai jamais vus auparavant" Harribel said in a monotone voice. Neliel and Rangiku sweat dropped.
"Oui, Madam" Neliel and Rangiku looked nervously at their teachers calm posture. Harribel didn't respond for a while, she just kept looking at Ace with cold eyes.
Ohhhnoo, this is it. She's going to call the principal Neliel thought nervously. Rangiku closed her eyes, waiting to hear their teacher yell.
"Okay classe, please open up your Text books to chapter 9. Study this chapter good as it will be on a test" Harribel said, ignoring the dumbfounded looks on everyone's faces except Ace's.
"Monsieur Portgas, you can help the students that has questions"
"Oui Madame" Ace grinned. Neliel and Rangiku let out a restrained sigh.
Gym
The Coach didn't even care if Ace was from another school. If he could fight than he's always welcome in his Gym. The boys have to run 10 laps, the girls 5 laps for a warm-up. After they finish their laps they had to do another activity; for the boys that was basket ball while the girls had to do volley ball.
"Wow, Ace is still here!" Keiko said as she served the ball over the net. Rangiku slammed the ball back.
"He sure is. We were scared that Ms. Tia would call the principal or something" Kagome tried to slam the ball back but it hit the ground before she could make contact.
"Well that's no surprise. He could charm any woman in letting him do as he pleases" Kagome said as she rolled the ball to the other side. Nel picked it up.
"So, what about Coach?" Neliel asked, serving the ball. Sango slammed it back.
"I don't think Coach cares. Look at how he's enjoying the boy's game. Grimmjow's team is creaming the other team" The girls looked at their grinning Coach.
"If you ask me, I think Ace's the perfect boyfriend material" Momo said and gave Neliel a playfully smile.
"You're one lucky girl Nel, I wish Izuru was like that" Nel grinned.
"He could be like that when you confess your feelings for him" Momo gulped nervously, turning a little red.
"I just got a great idea" Ririn said cheerfully. She was a petite girl with short blond hair, blue eyes. The girls looked at her. (AN: The Teams consist of: Keiko, Kagome, Sango, Rukia, Orihime and Chizuru the other Rangiku, Nel, Momo, Tatsuki, Ririn and Cirucci.)
"Why not confess your feelings for Izuru at the Fall Dance next month?"As Ririn told her Rangiku nudged Momo playfully.
"That's not a bad idea Ririn. I could ask Nova to the dance, Rukia will ask Renji, Momo will ask Izuru" Rangiku said, clapped her hands in glee.
"Hey, what about us?" Kagome pouted, hands on her hips in a playful manner. Rukia laughed.
"Why are you getting upset about? You'll obviously go with Kurama, Sango will go with Hiei, Nel will go with Ace and Orihime will go with Grimmjow" Kagome sighed.
"I know but we wanted to be included also" Kagome stuck her tongue playfully and winked. Sango raised a brow.
"We? If Hiei doesn't want to go, I'll make him go" She said as she cracked her knuckles. The girls sweat dropped.
"Well me and Orihime are pretty sure that Ace and Grimmjow will ask us to the dance" Neliel said. Orihime nodded in agreement.
"LADIES! ENOUGH CHIT-CHAT!GO BACK TO PLAYING VOLLEYBALL" Coach Zaraki shouted to them. The girls cringed at his loud voice and quickly returned to playing volleyball.
The rest of the school hours passed and Ace was never caught. Basically his grandfather's strict training paid off. In Science Class he impressed the Science Teacher Mr. Uruhara with science equations. Mr. Uruhara made a deal with him that if he solves some science equations he could stay and not get in trouble. To his surprise, Ace solved the questions in matter of no time.
"What else do you know? I mean you're like a genius!" Neliel exclaimed. Ace chuckled and shook his head.
"I'm no genius. It's Gramps fault again. He had hired tutors to tutor me and my little brother in Science, Chemistry, Math and such so we could grow up as fine and intelligent marine soldiers"
"Ohh damn I've never met someone as strict as your grandfather" Neliel said in a mellow voice. Ace smiled. "Yeah but he's just looking out for us. He means well"
"To be honest, I'm so nervous about meeting him and the rest of your family. What if they don't like me?" Ace wrapped an arm around her shoulders bringing her closer to lean on him.
"Hey don't think that. I know they'll love you. You're sweet, nice, polite, gorgeous, smart, funny, lovingly and mature" Ace said and pecked her lips. Nel smiled sweetly snuggled closer to him. In the back Niotora was glaring at the pair. 'Tss, no one touches my woman'
Soon school ended and Grimmjow gave Neliel, Orihime and Ace a lift. Sango went with Hiei while Kurama and Yusuke walked Kagome and Keiko home.
Sango&Hiei
When they've arrived at Hiei's house they were greeted by a delicious home made dinner by Yukina.
"I was thrilled when Hiei told me you were coming over, Sango-chan" Yukina giggled and hugged Sango. Sango grinned.
"I would love to come here every day if that's okay" Yukina nodded happily.
"Off course you can silly. You're always welcome here. Now let's dig in" Yukina said as she took her seat, grabbed a plate with food. Hiei and Sango did the same. After they finished Hiei said something in Yukina's ear. She nodded understandably.
"Come on, we're going to see Shigure" Hiei told Sango and lead her towards the car. Sango sighed sadly. 'I hope this works'
Ace & Nel
When Grimmjow dropped them off, Neliel gulped nervously as she stood in front of Ace's house. He grabbed her hand softly and opened the door.
"Hey old man, I'm home and I brought a guest" Ace shouted in his house. He than proceed to lead Nel in his living room. He scratched his head confused but soon realizes where his family was. He grinned and led Nel to his kitchen and there they found his grandfather and his little brother stuffing their faces like there's no tomorrow.
"OII, old man, Luffy. I want you guys to meet someone" Ace said to them. They looked at him and than at Nel. Their eyes widen and both fell off their chairs.
"EHHH?" Garp and Luffy exclaimed completely astonished as they looked at them. Neliel blushed and looked down at the floor. Ace cocked his head to the side and frowned.
"What?" Garp kept looking at Nel.
"Your guest is a girl?" He said still astonished. Luffy grinned and went to Neliel.
"Hey, nice to meet you, my name is Luffy, I'm Ace's little brother. What's your name?" Luffy said grinning. Neliel giggled softly.
"My name's Neliel"
"Sorry for my rudeness, my name is Garp, I'm Ace and Luffy's grandfather" Garp said as he rubbed his head sheepishly.
"Nice to meet you, Garp-san, Luffy-san" Neliel said polity.
"Don't call me Garp, please call me Grandpa, Ace normally wouldn't bring girls home, I started to think that my grandson was into men since he always invite that Grimmjow boy over" Garp said grinning. Ace's face turned red in embarrassment. Neliel blushed as he gave her a bear hug.
"Oi, Ace is she your girlfriend?" Luffy wondered excitedly. Ace smirked.
"I just met her, but I hope she says yes when I ask her to be mine though" He replied and winked at Neliel. She grinned and pecks his cheek.
"You guys hungry? There's plenty of food here" Ace nodded quickly when his stomach growled. Neliel laughed and grabbed a plate and started eating with Ace's family.
Grimmjow & Orihime
"Come on let's go grab a pizza or something" Grimmjow suggested as he stretched himself on Orihime's bed. She was lying beside him running her hand through his hair.
"Okay, let's go I'm starving" Orihime grinned at him as she playfully pinched his cheek. He narrowed his eyes playfully at her and rubbed his cheek. He smirked and nipped her nose softly.
"Well I could always eat you" Orihime slapped his arm playfully.
"Pervert" She stuck her nose in the air. He snickered and than lifted her up into his arms bridal style, she eeped at the sudden movement. He grinned at her and continued to carry her outside to his car. He set her gently in the passenger's seat and quickly got in to his seat and started the engine, driving off to the pizza-shack a few blocks away from her house. They arrived at the shack and ordered one large pizza of pepperoni. As they were enjoying their food they were approached by a couple.
"Grimmjow, Orihime-chan what are you guys doing here?" Kagome asked, hand in hand with Kurama. Grimmjow gave her a lazy look before taking a bite out of his pizza.
"Grabbing something to eat, you guys too?" Orihime contemplated. Kagome nodded happily.
"Yeah, we just finished. Now we're heading back to the shrine"
"What ever" Grimmjow said flatly and slurped his soda. Kagome rolled her eyes and dragged Kurama to the exit.
Hiei parked his car in front of a small building. Sango sat in the passenger's seat, shifting nervously. Her boyfriend placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, trying to calm his girlfriend. Sango smiled gratefully and opened the car door and waited for him. Hiei locked his car when he got out.
The couple looked at each other one last time before entering Shigure's Hypnosis.
Skitty365: I am deeply sorry for delaying this story. Ever since my laptop crashed and I lost chapter eight and nine, I didn't continue anymore. I stopped writing stories and posting them online, but after receiving reviews from readers for me to continue I decided I would give it another go. My English has drastically taken a beating. I have been focusing more on Dutch, since my study is in Dutch. It's reallyhard with all those grammar rules. I want to thank all who reviewed and wanted me to continue this story.
