The challenge was to use the song 'Digital Love' by Daft Punk

The pairing had to be Karin and Itachi.

I was given a time limit of 30 minutes.

I'm definitely warming to this pairing... There's a lot of potential...

So this was the amazing Sasuke's older brother... Standing tall with the same cool, enigmatic attitude as her crush.

She looked him up and down, not able to help comparing the two siblings. Itachi was taller, more serious-looking. Now that his Akatsuki cape was off she could see his skin scarred through countless battles, his arms thin but with a sinewy strength.

Experience. That was the main difference between them. That, and there was something cold behind the older brother's eyes. While Sasuke seemed haunted by an inescapable determination, Itachi's eyes seemed shallow, they lacked depth somehow.

Was this what happened when you sacrificed everything for power?

Karin couldn't take her eyes off of him. She'd been warned to avert her eyes in case Itachi had set up the meeting under false pretences and just wanted to remove one of Sasuke's allies, but it wouldn't have done much good. He would have been able to put her under his spell whenever he wanted, no matter where she looked.

"Didn't your mother teach you it's rude to stare?"

"I wasn't staring!!"

Itachi tsked. "... Nothing escapes these eyes, remember that."

Karin blushed furiously. Sasuke had said the same thing last week when she'd suggested the two of them go on a reconnaissance mission alone, without the boneheads in their group.

Those brothers were more alike than either of them would ever admit. They both had that same cool attitude that made Karin go weak at the knees and turned her brain to mush. Karin shook herself.

"What did you want, Itachi? Sasuke isn't going to give up on his plan to kill you, you know. Even if you kill me now it won't make a difference."

Karin widened her stance, trying to look more confident than she actually felt.

"No, let Sasuke come. He's been working towards this on my orders, after all. It'll be...fun."

The girl adjusted her glasses, confused, but remained silent. Wow, he was so cool. So hot. She wanted to run over there and just rip the remains of his clothes off and then-

"...Nothing escapes these eyes, remember?"

Karin's cheeks turned bright red. He'd caught her again. But...he...he was irresistible, even more so than his brother, maybe.

"Come here."

The redhead slowly approached him, her breath quick but steady. She wasn't afraid...should she be? She stopped and stood facing him, about a meter away. She could smell his skin, the salty sweat that remained after his last fight. She imagined touching that glistening skin, running her fingers over his scars and-

"You never learn, do you?"

Itachi put his hand on her head, grabbing a handful of red hair and pulling her gently towards him. Her head was pressed against his chest and she could feel his heart beating steadily. Her vision became blurred as her mind raced a million miles an hour.
