The monitor flashed, revealing his desktop. Tears were streaming down his cheeks as he began to type. The sound of fingers typing (beside the sound of his silent whimpers) was the only sound that he heard... it oddly comforted him.

"You know..."

He paused, feeling sort of desperate to write something like this. This was ridiculous. What was he? He was relying on the computer to comfort him, after months of neglecting it and seeing his lover?

There was a sudden flash of pain that cringed in his chest for a moment. He couldn't get Geneus', his former lover, face off his mind. His lips were so soft. He knew. He kissed him.

Tears rolled faster down his pale skin. He began typing faster. Maybe... maybe if he could go back to the way him and his computer would spend some quality time together, he might get his mind off Geneus.

It was worth a shot.

He dragged his mouse on an icon to a dating sim. The picture somehow resembled his brother's fiancé, except it was an attractive girl. He shrugged. He didn't play this game for months now. Oh how he missed Juli. Sara. Wolfina. Conramina. Gwendarina. Gunta.

During the course of the game, he managed to get his mind off Geneus. The computer managed to heal the emotional scars that Geneus inflicted when Geneus said the words, "I'm sorry, this just wouldn't work."

He was enveloped in the game. He managed to woo Wolfina to the point she allowed him to have lunch with her on the beach house. Life was good.

He didn't notice that the afternoon turned to early morning. Or rather, he didn't want to notice. He finally decided to close the window. He smiled at the computer.

Oh how he loved it.

Maybe... maybe it would love him back? No. The idea was ludicrous. It's an inanimate object therefore not capable of any emotions. But that was alright with him as long as the computer understands.

He leaned closer, giving the computer a soft peck on the middle of the monitor. If the monitor had the decency to kiss back, it would.

"I'm going to take a bath and get ready for college. Take care of yourself, okay?" He said to the computer, not caring if he sounded like a maniac.

The computer wanted to smile at him. It wanted to tell him how it loved him, too. And will continue to do so. Because the computer was patient and will wait for the day Shouri would admit his real feelings.

How long did they have to play this game?
