"Butterfly!" Naruto shouted, crystal blue eyes snapping open and brightening in interest. A sunny yellow butterfly was indeed on the boy's nose, not flying off for some reason. His lips curved into a wide smile.
Kakashi sighed. There went their meditation session. "Naruto, how are you supposed to fine tune your chakra control if you can't even—"
"Shh. Butterfly," the blonde whispered. He was cross-eyed from staring at the little thing and his mouth pouted slightly in concentration to stay still. It made Kakashi smile despite his frustration. 'How quintessentially cute', Kakashi thought.
Pulling down his mask, he leaned over so his face was mere inches from Naruto's face. He puffed gently, and the butterfly fluttered off, startled.
"Hey! Kakashi-sens—mmf!" The jounin pushed his lips up against Naruto's. They were chapped and small; so, so small.
The boy tried to make another sound, along the lines of a squeak or a 'manly shout of disapproval', but Kakashi simultaneously pulled back while pressing his finger against those little lips, shutting him up.
"Shh. Tulip," he murmured almost sagely.
Naruto was thoroughly confused, but quickly forgot exactly what he was confused about when Kakashi pushed him down and tackled his mouth again.
All that registered was that the grass was getting more and more comfortable by the second…
