A DS/Austin Powers Crossover Vignette:

June 11, 1967

There was a spring in Jason McGuire's step as he walked to the front door of Collinwood. {Won't dear Liz be surprised to see me?} He smiled as he pondered his plans for his beloved extortion victim this time. This time he planned to make her marry him.

He picked up his pace when he heard the sound of two cars pulling up in the driveway, but the sounds of car doors slamming and guns being cocked stopped him in his tracks.

"All right, McGuire, you've gone quite far enough."

Jason would have recognized the voice anywhere. So he said, without turning around. "Oh? And how're you planning to take me back, Mr. Powers?"

"Oh. I won't be taking you in, McGuire. Sheriff Patterson and his deputy will do that for me, thanks to the extradition papers that they have in their possession."

Jason turned to face the agent and the police officers, his hands in the air. "All right, officers. I'll go peacefully." He walked toward the officers, who handcuffed him and placed him into their squad car.

The door of the house opened, catching Austin's attention. His attention was caught even more when he saw the beautiful blonde stepped out onto the porch.

"Hey, baby." He said, approaching her. "I'm new around here. Is there anywhere in this town that really swings?"

"Well, there's the Blue Whale . . ." The blonde began dubiously.

"Groovy baby." He took her arm and walked her to his car. After they were both inside, he spun around in the driveway, spewing gravel under his tires as they drove out of sight.
