Brief story for Halloween. About Spyro! His heart, his soul, and his love. Some times it's scary. Sometimes it's sweet!

Enjoy the poem!

His eyes looked forward,

Never downward,

He felt his heart beat

But not enough to retreat

He closed his eyes for once

And though of it.

His claws stained with blood,

His muscles aching with hurt

His eyes foggy with gloom

Red blood like a blooming flower

A scream

A silence

A fire

A dragon

Scales shining purple,

Eyes glittering in the dark,

He saw his mark

One from him

But no, not from him

The scream of Cinder,

The silence of the night

This is not his blight,

Not his suffering,

Not his life

He saw her differently,

Small not tall,

Large horns with large wings,

Tail that clings

To the nearest things

She was frightened,

Frightened for him,

Screaming his name,

Never the same

She listened closely as he clung onto

Her,

Her…her heart so warm

Her breath so nice.

The fire now gone, the killers killed,

The ghosts ceased

The wind called

It whistled and howled at the two dragons,

Making the air cold,

The sound of wind chimes,

Clung in the air,

As the two hugged each other.

Her scales touching his,

Her wings around him.

They hugged for they almost lost each other,

But now they are together,

Together forever.

He closed his eyes once more and felt his heart beat,

Never being a bleat.

They flew back to the temple

Together forever

Side-by-side

And now the dragon

All alone while everyone slept

Was outside,

Looking to the sky,

Up so high.

He remembered the fire

The way it tire

The blast and the inferno,

But soon getting his enemies.

All too soon she screamed his name

He lost focus and the fire ended

But then he was hugged by her,

And his nature came to him.

He loved her so very much

He saved her.

He hugged her.

He kissed her.

She, Cinder, the dragon

He, Spyro, the dragon.

The haunting memory of ghosts and ghouls

The way the wind blew,

So frighteningly loud

Yet so calm and gentle

Just like a dragons' wings

Just like a dragon's heart.

Just like his heart, so strong and yet so gentle.

Just like his eyes…which told his life.

The crows had cawed

And then they ceased

Seeing the dragons showing their love

Now that they are together forever.

But lo, yet again, he heart the same noise.

The one so gentle,

The one so soft.

He turned around saw her with tears,

A look of worry on her face.

"Spyro…?" She said,

"I'm here…I will always be here for you…"

That was more like a love story instead, wasn't it? Hey, I liked it! First poem up on Fanfiction! And it's about Dragons!
