My favorite movie is Across the Universe; this is what I think would have happened in the next five minutes of the movie, if it would have continued. Enjoy!!
Jude's heart was beating so fast it hurt, he couldn't look away. This was the face he had been missing for over a year now. It had been far too long since he had seen her. And now, she was here. They were only separated by a few metres. He needed to touch her face, to make sure that she was real.
She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah,
She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah,
Lucy gripped the rail, wishing she could leap over the small distance and into his arms. That was where she belonged. For a second, she was almost going to do it. Killing yourself won't help anything, Lucy. She mentally scolded herself. Her heart ached as she saw him smile at her. She had to get to him!
At the same time, both Lucy and Jude turned around to the staircase. They rushed down as fast as they both could. When they flung open the doors at the same time, and sunlight pierced their eyes, all they saw was each other. Lucy ran into his arms, and kissed him. He kissed her back with exuberance, and weaved his hands through her hair.
When they broke apart, they stared into each other's eyes, at what they had been missing for the past year.
"Jude, I am so…" Jude quickly covered Lucy's mouth with his hand, muffling her apology. "Mmmff!" She mumbled in indignation.
"My fault, Lucy." He sighed softly, closing his eyes and resting his forehead on hers. She shook her head in denial.
"Okay, it was equally my fault and your fault, deal?" Jude laughed. Lucy thought about it for a second, then agreed. "Deal." She said. Lucy was almost melting in the sound of his Liverpool accent. For the past year, everytime she heard someone with an English accent, she would turn around and instictivley look for Jude.
"What do you say we go back up to the gang?" He asked finally. Lucy lifted her head off his chest to look up at him.
"Didn't you see the guards?" she asked. "That would be why I was on another roof!" He laughed.
"Two words." He smiled. "Back door." He took her hand and led her to the other side of the building.
"There was a back door?" She groaned. "Well that would have been useful a few minutes ago!" They made their way back onto the roof. When the door opened and Jude and Lucy, their arms wrapped around each other, came walking out, everyone cheered.
"Yay, now our missing link is back!" Prudence beamed. Standing by the railing, looking out on the city of New York, with her other half standing at her side, Lucy knew everything was going to be alright.
I know, really short, but I hope you liked it anyways. Great, so please hit the little blue button and review!!
