Mario chuckled as he was walking near the Moonview Highway, humming to himself as he enjoyed the cool October night.

"Man! It's a-so nice out here tonight-a!" Mario exclaimed as he moved his hands about.

Suddenly he got blasted in the face by red electricity, of which wad fired by a red cannon. Mario gawked as he got back on his feet, seeing four different cannons on the top of the hill overlooking the road.

"Oh no! Not them again!" Mario exclaimed in horror as he placed his hands on his face.

The four different colored Koopas chuckled as they fired their cannons, shooting more electricity as Mario got zapped several times by the different electrical bolts. Mario tried his best to avoid it, but he was being slowed from the electricity running through his body.

"Oh no... this-a really isn't going as well-a as I anticipated..." Mario groaned as he panted heavily, collapsing on the road as he was right in the middle. "How come this electricity is doing me in...?"

"Because you're getting older." Dry Bowser commented as he stood before Mario, his hands on his hips as he chuckled. "Well, that, and being so used to mediocrity that you can't focus on taking care of enemies who will use unexpected tactics on you."

Mario glared up at Dry Bowser, being somewhat disgusted. "Ugh! What-a are you-a doing here?"

"Oh you know, just going around everywhere as I please." Dry Bowser commented as he felt charged up from the electricity flowing through him. "I just decided to see if you needed some help."

"I appreciate it, but I don't." Mario replied as he slowly got up, only to be zapped by four different colored bolts of electricity, collapsing on his back as he wheezed in pain. "On... second thought..."
