Ehh. You get bored every once in awhile. So I decided to write a HP one shot for the heck of it. Not my style, so I hope it doesn't end up as crap. XP
Tick, tock, tick, tock. My eyes were fixed everywhere. I looked at everything around me, expecting something to pop up and scare me, probably. Tick, tock, tick, tock.
I was getting ancy now. My heart fluttered and I wanted to scream or go on a rant on how stupid Fred and George had been acting lately, but it seemed that I couldn't even spare myself of moving.
How absurd. I muttered in my head.
The bed I was sitting on was not my own, it was Sirius's old mattress and was very soft. I liked this bed better than the others I had slept on in my past. My hand stroke the light quilt that I sat atop on and I started thinking about my parents.
Lily and James Potter. I didn't know anything about them. Of course everyonce knew my story. The Boy Who Lived. That got annoying every once in a while. Why couldn't I be like everyone else? Why couldn't I be known as... The Boy Who Had Some Weird Magnetic Thing In His Mind That Somehow Attracted Him To Freaky Situations And Trouble (Also People). I smiled. Harry Potter; The Danger Magnet.
"Harry?" I was immediatly pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Sirius's voice call me. I didn't turn around. I just knew it was him.
"Hello, Sirius." I said, keeping my eyes casted downward at my hands in my lap.
"Alright, what seems to be the quandary?" He asked huskily, while sitting down upon the bed next to me.
"Just thinking."
"Let me distract you then." My head shot up and I looked at my godfather suspiciously.
"What?"
"Hand me the phone over there." He asked, reaching his hand out in the phone direction. I grabbed it from the end table and placed it in his hand.
"1-800-600-6014." He mumbled as he pressed the keys in the cordphone and then pressed the SPEAKER button.
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked.
Sirius's finger went to his mouth and I clasped my teeth together, trying not to say a word as I watched helplessly.
"Good evening..." Someone slurred on the other line.
"Hi!" Sirius said brightly.
"Who...might this be?" The man said darkly.
"I was wanting to order some pizza!" Sirius said.
Oh god, this is a prank call. I smiled deviously.
"Hey, did the hott blond babe answer this time, Sirius?" I asked, making it sound like I was in the back ground. Of course I was going to play along.
"I dunno! Let me ask!" Sirius cried. "Hey baby, what's your name?"
"Uhhhh. I hate wizards." Then the guy hung up.
Sirius and I started to burst out laughing. "Man, that was funny!" I said, giving him a high five.
"Yeah, I know right?!" He replied.
"Of course! But seriously, who was that on the phone?"
"Voldemort."
My eyes nearly popped out of my head.
Pointless and terrible ending. Oh well, I said I didn't write HP stuff; even though I love that series. Anyways, review!
