Pale flesh glistened in the silver moonlight underneath the Pirate's watchful gaze. The corners of his mouth and mustache lifted in a charming smile as he watched the gentle rise and fall of his lover's body and listened to his deep, undisturbed breathing. He reached out to caress the tender flesh and then began running his fingers over him in loving strokes.
His eyes grew moist as he stroked the round flesh. He knew his partner did not like this part of his body far too well, but he loved it just as much as he loved every other inch of him. To his dear Samuel, it made him ugly, but to James, it was a sign of his love for him. No matter how crazy their lives became, how insane their world, he always took care of his baby just as Smee did of him.
No matter who else went hungry, his Smee always had plenty to eat. They might go lacking for other things and that darn boi might always be after them, determined to do his best to make Neverland into Hell for them, but he would never let his Smee go hungry, thirsty, or too tired. He would care for him as well as he could as long as he had even just one breath left in his body.
James sighed softly. After all, it was the least he could do for the way Smee always cared for him. He would face any danger to protect him, do whatever he asked of him as soon as he asked it or even sooner if he could figure it out before hand. He cared for his hook and let him know, at every opportunity, that he was no less a man because of his handicap.
They would go through Hell for each other, James knew, but one day, when the boi was defeated, he would build a castle for his love on the land, plant daffodils all around it for they were Smee's favorite flower, settle down with him, and give him everything they were lacking and all he could ever want. He would make all his dreams come true.
A sudden giggle stilled his hand, and James looked down with a bright smile to realize that he had accidentally tickled Smee. He was squirming and giggling but had not yet awakened. James would not wake him, he decided, for though he would love to make sweet love to him again, he knew Smee would be up early in the morn, far before every one else, making his breakfast, shining his hook, and preparing his bath water though James never asked any of it from him. He did it to show his love for him, but James already knew his love stretched beyond the furthest stars just as his for him filled every inch of him and would go on for eternity.
He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to his beloved's forehead. Smee stilled instantly. "Sleep sweet, my love," he whispered softly, "and know every inch of you is loved forever." He laid back down and drew Smee into his arms in the tender, reassuring embrace of love's caress.
