The Demon Boy

The Demon Boy

A soul so tainted

And dark,

That reaches for the light

His heart so broken

And dark in the night.

The demon boy

With a darkened face,

Happiness on his face.

Evil words written

On his door,

Things shattered and thrown

On the floor.

His eyes betray his face,

But no one bothers to even

Look at his eyes,

Eyes older than his years.

His heart and soul

So fragile and broken.

His life is a big lie,

Full of broken promises, blood

And tears.

He hides behind a mask,

A façade,

Of happiness, loudness.

As his heart and mind breaking

And shedding the tears,

He hasn't shed.

Waiting and hoping for

Someone who will care,

And love him,

And want him there.

Every one hates him

Ignores him and beats him,

They torture him waiting for

Him to break.

His mask is now broken,

His true self

And emotions showing.

As everyone watches

Mouths silent and a gape,

Others smirking, smiling

And laughing.

No one sees the sorrow

In his eyes,

No one cares as sighs

Wishing for someone to be there.

He wants to live with out a care,

They won't let him be,

All he wants is to be free.

He is like a bird in a cage,

Trapped in a world

He doesn't want to live in,

Yet he still sings the song of sorrow.

His heart and soul

Tainted and torn

Yet he still suffers the scorn

Waiting till the day he is free.

Free from the pain, hate, darkness and sorrow.

The day he is free from the burden tied to his soul

Till the day he defies Fate.
