Edmund and Peter were galloping down into the green lush valley. Peter on a magnificent white stallion and Edmund on a handsome chestnut.

They were practicing sword fighting on horses for the upcoming battle.

Edmund found it hard to concentrate on steering his horse, stay in the saddle, and swing his sword at the same time.

He accidentally left open his right side, giving Peter the chance to swing down. If this was a real battle, he would've been knocked off his horse and probably dead.

Peter stopped short, a few inches from cutting his brother. "Ed." He said breathless. "Come on, you can do better than that."

Edmund grimaced, but gripped his sword harder. He rode his horse into a canter, chasing after Peter, who was galloping down the meadow.

He switched to a gallop also, riding behind Peter, catching up. Once he was close enough, he swung his sword down, as hard as he could.

Peter glanced back just in time, and raised his own sword, blocking Edmund's attack.

"Come on Ed," Peter encouraged. "Sword hand up like Oreius showed us."

Edmund eventually won that round, and as Peter swung off his horse to retrieve his sword that Edmund forced out of his hands.

Ed stuck his tongue out teasingly. "Yes, I could do better than that."

He laughed but stopped short when he saw Peter striding towards him, closer and closer.

Peter had already picked up his sword, and replaced it into its scabbard. In fact, he was staring at Ed.

Edmund couldn't help himself. The sight of his brother sweating from the workout but still smiling got to him. He leaned down, the taller one for once since he was still on his horse.

Peter reached up, and slung his arms around Edmund's neck and pushed his tongue into Edmund's mouth.

Their tongues were swirling around, fighting for dominance when they heard someone comment.

"Awww….that's sweet." Said an unfamiliar voice.

The two Pevensies broke away at once. Peter glanced around, but no one came into the meadow.

"I'm right here." Said the voice. Shocked, Edmund fell off his chestnut and turned his head to the direction of the voice. It seemed that his horse was talking but that was just impossible.

It took him a while to remind himself that he was in Narnia and that animals could talk, like the beavers, he thought to himself.

Peter, on the other hand, was shocked also, more to the extent that they had been caught kissing by a horse.

"You can talk horsey?!" Edmund stammered.

"My name is Philip." The horse answered voice hard and eyes narrowing dangerously.

Edmund, more afraid that the animal would rear up and kick him, answered quickly. "Oh. Right…sorry."

He was vaguely aware of Peter laughing his head off and made a mental reminder to himself to "punish" Peter later because of this.

A/N: Yes, short and fluffy. Okay, kinda. My notebook of random ideas that i jog down is full of Narnia, edmund/peter, pairings so...i decided to write this one down. This is the shortest of all the stories i've written so far. I'm proud of myself, i've completed at least 5 one-shots on my computer today. However, i'm uploading them one at a time, not all at once, so sorry. You'll have to wait. Of course, i have a story planned for September 5th.
