I'm writing another but it will be less than 20 chapters. I just loved the idea I had.

SUMMARY: Haley James' parents have her whole life planned out from her friend to her future husband. She finally gets a chance out. She meets Nathan Scott and is instantly attracted. So is he. Will their love run onto her parents' plan? Or can plans change? Haley's POV.

My name is Haley James. Tomorrow is a real exciting day for me. I will be attending Tree Hill High School. I know that it sounds nerdy that I am excited about school but the thing is it's my first public school. I used to attend a private school but I just couldn't stand it there anymore. My parents went there. My one teacher told me that I wasn't acting like a James should. That was it for me.

My parents run my life. I always have to listen to what they tell me to. I was just raised that way. It's all I knew. Until I started looking around me and everyone else seemed free. I want to feel like they do.

I only have two friends. They are not really my friends. They're just the one my parents picked for me. My parents didn't want me to have too many I guess. My first friend is Emma Hasting. She's very polite and she's too nice. I really can't stand her. It feels like she one of those mean girls who put on an act instead it's not. It's really her. Then there's Kelsey Greenburg. I think always thought that she was somewhat bipolar but her parents are doing the exact thing to her to. I was chosen for her. That's a way to make me feel like I'm into girls. I'm only allowed to hang out with them when all our parents set up a date. I won't be seeing them anymore and I can't wait to meet their replacements.

My lovely parents also picked out my future husband and we are getting married in after my senior year at high school, which has to be this year. I guess they don't want me to go to some college. His name is Alex King. His parents met my parents on a cruise one time eight years ago and that's when it was decided that we would get married. At that time I never even kissed a boy and I still haven't!

"Alright how do I look?" I twirled around for Emma and Kelsey. They just sat on my bed looking at me.

"Haley you look absolutely adorable!" Emma said. That's mnot even her being nice.

"I'm so jealous of you right now. You get to go out and live your life beyond what has been chosen for you." I actually could connect with Kelsey much more than I ever could with Emma.

I will be living with Whitey and Camilla Durham. They live in Tree Hill and decided that I could stay with them for the school year. Whitey is the coach of the basketball team at the school and his wife stays home and does her own thing. Camilla has been sick many times so it's nice to know that I will be there sometimes to watch her and keep her company.

"I'm sure that the Durham's will let you guys visit. I mean they sound like very caring people." I said.

"How did your parents agree to this whole arrangement anyway?" Kelsey asked.

"Haley, could you come downstairs? Your father and I would like to talk to you." My mother called.

I walked down and into my father's office. He nodded for me to take a seat.

"The school called and said that are not allowed to attend. What happened to you Haley? I know that your mother and I raised you to be better than this." My father stated.

"I don't know father. I guess the academy wanted me to be someone that I couldn't. I must have been too smart for them. I only offered to help a student that was struggling in one of my classes."

"Haley, why would you want to share something that you have with someone else? The only people you really need are Emma, Kelsey, Alex and us." My mother said.

"I'm didn't mean to let you down."

"Well your father found you a school to go to but you must understand that it is only for the meantime. Oh and you will be staying with an elderly couple that we set you up with. We made sure that they had no other children so you won't be distracted during your stay."

I nodded to my mother. I really didn't understand what she was talking about.

"Haley we're sorry but you will have to go to a public school."

YES!

"It was a hard decision on the Kelsey. So you guys don't mind telling Alex that I won't be seeing him anymore?"

Emma came up behind me and out her hand on my shoulder. "I know that you scared and hurt that you will have to leave Alex behind for awhile. I bet you he will understand just simply."

I pretended to look sad. But I knew that Kelsey could see through that. I took one last look in the mirror and said goodbye to everyone. I waited on my driveway for the car that would take me to Tree Hill, my freedom.
