A/N : Do not own doctor who, just my own stuff. I absolutely adore the idea of Jack/Jenny even if it's slightly, well, wrong! I've had this idea sort of rolling about in my head for a while now so I've decided to give it my best shot. Review if you like it, if you don't, then...:(. This is just the first chapter, the story will get better I swear!

It was a cold, windy, night on Sataday in Cardiff when captain Jack Harkness had implusively decided to take a walk. He needed a break from torchwood and wanted some fresh air. He walked along the streets and past the shops including a WH Smith and a woolworths. Jack would never understand why human's loved shopping so much especially when there are more important things going on in the world, like alien invasions for example. Suddenly Jack's thoughts turned to the doctor and for once they weren't dirty. Jack felt sad for the doctor. Rose had left him then Martha had left him. Jack wondered how many more had in the past and would in the future. Jack decided he didn't want to think about it too much because if he did, it would just make him dwell on his own misfortune of being immortal. As useful as it was, Jack didn't like the idea of outliving everybody close to him, even the doctor. Jack sighed and continued to walk down the chilly, dark Cardiff street. After an hour of walking, Jack returned to torchwood which was located in the centre of Cardiff, just near the rift. He was just heading in the direction of torchwood when a sudden flash of lightening caught his attention. He looked up at the rift and was horrified to see it turning a blood red shade. Something was coming through the rift, he could see it. It was falling fast and was going to crash if he didn't do something to stop it. But he couldn't and it was too late. The object which looked like a ship, was seconds away from crashing and sure enough, three minutes later there was a horrifeying explosion as it hit the ground. Jack immediately thought of the passengers, alien or not, he ran to help but one of the dented doors flung open and a young, blonde woman fell out. Jack ran to the woman who was lying unconcious on the floor and was bleeding from a cut that went all the way down her delicate face. No matter what the situation was, captain Jack couldn't help himself and thought she was the most beautiful thing he'd seen in a while. As much as Jack loved Ianto, he couldn't tear his eyes away from the beautiful blonde. He had to help her though first, so he lifted her up and carried her to torchwood.

Jenny opened her eyes and found herself lying on some kind of medical table. The room she was in was small and brightly lit. She suddenly panicked. Where was she? what had she landed and more importantly what were they going to do to her when they found out what she was? Suddenly fear rushed through her. What if they'd already found out and where going to lock her up like some sort of lab rat?. Flashes of what had happened to her on planet Yeko flooded through her mind. She'd landed on a mysterious new planet, just a few months after leaving her home planet Messaline and was captured instantly. They did a scan, discovered her biology and shoved her in a cold, dark, cell and didn't bother feeding her. She'd been alone, frightening and starving. Everyday someone would come in and torture her for fun and then after they were done with that they'd do tests. No one came to save her, nobody knew who she was. She had no family, no friends and she had to rescue herself. No matter how disturbed she was about the whole thing, she'd managed to pull herself together and hatch a plan. She somehow managed to gather some strength, just enough to knock out the latest torturer. After she'd kicked his head in, she didn't care what her fathert hought about violence, in this case it was essentical, she'd ran out of there, bleeding and weak. She got into her ship and flew off to the nearest planet that wouldn't try to hurt her or dissect her. She, luckily, landed on a very pleasant planet where she met many kind aliens who'd help her recover. She'd even fallen in love for the first time with a green skined alien named Antonio but that didn't last long. He left her for one of hisown kind which was probably for the better. Now Jenny sighed and took a glance around. This didn't look anything like the prison on that horrible planet she didn't even remember the name of but still she couldn't take any chances. She was just about to get up to leg it out of there when she realised, to horror, she was completely naked under the white sheet that was covering her. Just at that moment, a man walked in and Jenny''s hearts stopped. He was gorgeous. He had dark hair, nearly black but not quite, he was tall and wore a dark blue coat, a light blue shirt and black pants and brown suspenders. His eyes were as blue as ice. Jenny was mesmerised despite the fact he was clearly alot older than her. Jenny didn't care though, age didn't matter to her. "Hello" the man said and moved to the left side of the table she was lay on.

"Hi" Jenny said back and smiled shyly.

"So what are you? you look human but I mean checking out your ship and the way you got here..." The man was asking questions about how she got here. Even more importantly, he was asking about her species. She was suddenly overcome with panic and didn't know what to say so she decided it would be best to just lie for now.

"I'm human but from another planet. I'm A 25 year old scientist and I went off in a rocket to discover life on other planets which I obviously did. So there, you happy?" Jenny finished her fake explaination, although some of it was sort of true, since she did actually take off in a rocket, and prayed really hard he wouldn't ask anymore questions but thankfully he didn't. He just smiled.

"I hope you don't mind but you were in a pretty nasty crash. Do you mind if our medi runs a scan on you?" the man asked politely but Jenny's hearts suddenly quickened. If they did a scan they'd see her two hearts and then they'd know she was lying and probably kill her. Jenny couldn't let that happen but then again if she didn't, they'd know she was hiding something so heres what she'd do. She'll tell them to run a scan and while they're not looking, run out of there and thats about it. Not a great plan and since she didn't have any clothes anymore, she'd have to escape in the white sheet. That would be beyond embarssing especially if she was seen but she knew she couldn't stay here.

"No, not at all" Jenny smiled but the man didn't leave to her dismay. Instead he came closer. Her pulse quickened.

"I'm captain Jack Harkness by the way" He said with a wrink. Jenny found herself blush deeply.

"So Jack where am I?" Jenny asked hoping he would leave soon.

"Torchwood" he answeared then finally got up and walked out of the room.
