Author's Note: So I'm trying to write a Kaname x Zero fic for Nothing from AF, and while thinking up idea's for it, this drabble came to me. I know that it's not much, but I thought that I'd share it. Just to let you know, the style is different from what I usually do, but I felt that the expression of the story would come off better this way. Anyway, please enjoy. Sorry if it sucks.

Warnings: Yaoi (Kaname x Zero), implied sex, some angst, no Beta.

Declaimer: I don't own Vampire Knights; I make no money from writing this.

Fallen

Written By: Crimson2006

Soft—the sensation beneath him, the smooth, silky sheets pressing up against his hot skin. The lulling texture enhancing his senses as lips descend upon his flesh with a seared, but chilled passion.

Dangerous—because the pleasure is too palpable, the way it transcends; reaching deep inside of him, filling his lungs with cold wisps of air and yet denying him the oxygen that he so desperately needs.

Words—betrayals, as they flow from his lips, sounds inaudible. Articulation demanding: begging, crying, whispering, and pleading. He has forsaken so much of what he once cherished; defiling it regretfully for what he still can't have.

Atonement—his tears, the way they fall from lavender eyes; a mixture of pleasure and pain that slowly rots inside of him. His feelings are incomprehensible, breaking him until there is no hope for repair.

Addiction—an emotion of constriction; asphyxiation, drowning. He can not flee it; the debauchery that flows through his body, coagulating his blood until he feels his heart stop. It's not reality, but it's allegorical. One day he will die, and when that happens, the remnants of these actions will only conjure up more despair.

Recognition—in the darkness, it leaves his lips forbiddingly. Soul fallen and broken; there is no salvation. Not from the god to whom he prays, the girl that he loves or the vampire he despises. They are all selfish tools and he feels that weight now; heavy and dark, the guilt is relentless.

Unforgivable—indefinitely and raw, his body twitching as hot white liquid covers his chest. The world is wretched, broken; tainted. Albeit, his body shakes with despair, every nerve frayed as the reflection he doesn't want to see fills him with blissful gratification. It isn't fair, but that's what makes it so real.

"Kaname—" with such a simple word, he breaks; consumed by nothing but a twisted sense of despair. With white wings torn from his back, Zero knows that he has fallen—that he will never stand again. "Kill me…" he begs, desperation vivid. His acts are unforgivable—he is unforgivable.

Silence—it's mocking. Never to be heard. Zero knows that Kaname will not give him that satisfaction, the only kind his soul really desires…

Author's Note: Okay...so just a word here, I've only read the first three books, so I apologize if this is OOC. It was just something that came to me –and from what I know of the story– I thought it might fit their characterizations in some odd, fucked up way. And yes, you are to assume that they are already a couple (of sorts) in this drabble.

Anyway, reviews are loved and appreciated. Thanks for reading.
