I don't know how I got this idea, other than I was thinking about Friday the Thirteenth, and then my thoughts switched to Naruto. And this came out.

Basically, Iruka announces the team commonly known as Team Guy. Dig it.

Disclaimer: M. Kishimoto is a genius. And that's why he owns this.

"Team 13: Neji Hyuga, TenTen . . . and Rock Lee," announced Iruka-sensei.

TenTen glanced at the two that were now her teammates. The Hyuga was sitting behind her a few rows back, Rock Lee being on the very front row. TenTen rolled her eyes. Great. She was stuck with the stuck up prodigy and the last of the class. Her day could not get any worse. Was Iruka-sensei punishing her for something? Wait, thought TenTen, I should be more excited. I just got assigned to a team! I'm finally Genin! TenTen grinned. That was more like it.

Neji glared down at TenTen, his new teammate. What was she grinning about? He had seen her before, during one of their group training sessions. The weapons' mistress. Or, so she had been dubbed by their teachers. Neji sneered. And he was with the last of the class, too. Wonderful. Neji vowed to himself that he would neither be brought down, or outdone by any of them. Neji smiled grimly. Like they could keep up with me, anyway.

Rock Lee was grinning. He had passed, finally. And his teammates were surely kind . . . Well, at least TenTen, anyway. Neji Hyuga, the number one rookie of their year, somewhat frightened Lee. Lee knew that most of his classmates looked down on him from his rather . . . lack of ability to be a shinobi. But Lee would prove it to them, no matter what. His will to learn and do surely overshadowed his lack of talent. Hard work overshadows natural talent, Lee reminded himself. And hard work then becomes skill.

Iruka took a glance at the three Genin placed on Team 13. TenTen, Lee, and Neji. The weapons' mistress, the . . . hard worker, and the genius. A somewhat . . . uncharacteristic team. Iruka smiled. But they would learn how to be teammates. Sooner or later, they would learn.
