Snowball Fight (EPOV)

For the first time this year snow covered the usually green surroundings here in Washington. Finally, something fun to do during the tedious hours we endured at Forks High School. We were all at the edge of the forest when I heard Emmett's predictable words echo through his mind: snowball fight, at lightning speed he gathered a ball of snow and launched it at me, I ducked just in time- he should have realised I was on to his plan- and it hit Alice in the face. I chuckled, her face was filled with chagrin as she yelled at him,
"I took me ages to do my hair! THIS MEANS WAR!" in a lithe movement I barely caught myself she scooped up the powdery snow and threw it back at him. He erupted with laughter,
" Best you can do, sis?"
Another snowball hit him; it was Jasper this time, his face smug.
"You really shouldn't have done that," Rosalie commented, "You're just encouraging him".

"Exactly" I remarked as I hurled a snowball at her. It felt great to break out of the human charade, running at full speed as Emmet tried to gang up on me with Jasper, as if they could catch me I thought to myself. Emmet suddenly disappeared into the forest. I turned back towards Alice and Rose, seeing Rosalie get annoyed humoured me as every ball she threw was dodged by Alice who foresaw each move. Jasper caught up with me then, he too, laughed at Rosalie's expression. Just then Emmet emerged from the trees with a two-meter wide snowball and threw it at Alice. It encased her completely; even Jasper couldn't help roaring with even more laughter as her tiny head popped out of the top, furious.

Abruptly Alice jumped out of the snow mound that buried her and all hell broke loose as she continuously threw snowballs at us as we chortled at her.
" I wish I bought my camera." Emmet snickered and yet another snowball hit him. Jasper must have sensed Alice's infuriation and rugby tackled Emmet to the ground; he pushed him off grinning hugely and started to make a snow angel. It was incredibly funny to see, Alice and Rose giggled at the sight of him, a 90-year-old Vampire making angels in the snow.

He got up then and smirked. "Come on let's get inside, I'm starving," He said jokingly. We walked into the cafeteria unaware of our surroundings as we sat down. Emmet started shaking his hair, spraying Rosalie and Alice as they leaned away, cautiously.

"Bella what are you staring at?" I heard Jessica Stanley ask from the other side of the room I glanced behind me, curious. As I caught eye contact with her she lowered her head in embarrassment, her cheeks blushing as her blood flooded enticingly in her cheeks. "Edward Cullen is staring at you," she giggled but her thoughts were more acidic.
"He doesn't look angry does he?" I felt a flood of remorse as I thought of my monstrous behaviour on our first meeting but I was sure it would be easier for next lesson as Emmet, Jasper and I went hunting yesterday as a precaution, but I couldn't fool myself completely as the memory of her sent swirled around my head.
"No," she replied "Should he be?" she asked frowning, I looked down annoyed once again by my manners as she answered in a quiet voice,
" I don't think he likes me."
