"Sora, what do you think you're doing?" Kairi asked, hands on her hips, as she tilted her head slightly, staring at the brunette who was currently hanging upside down in a paopu fruit tree.

"Huh?" Sora jerked his head up to stare at Kairi, which was rather difficult from his current position of upside-downness. "I'm getting a paopu fruit, what does it look like I'm doing?"

"How do you expect to get a paopu fruit that way?" Kairi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well-" Sora began, returning his attention to a large yellow paopu fruit in the next tree over, as he gripped the branch tighter with his legs and began swinging back and forth.

"You see-" he continued as he made a grab for the star-shaped fruit– missing, and swinging back; though completely undaunted as he continued swinging back and forth, while Kairi merely seemed content to watch him in disbelief.

"Since a certain Riku-" Another grab and miss.

"Seems to have done away-" Almost, but not quite.

"With all the paopu fruit-" Complete miss that time.

"In this tree-" Not far enough.

"I'm gonna get one-" Too far- almost fell off.

"From that tre- EEEEE!"

The last part came out as a shriek as Sora swung one inch too far, slipping off the branch he had been swinging from to go shooting through the air. He managed to grab the second paopu tree's branch before gravity could take hold, and attempted to clamber to clamber up onto it but slipped and went tumbling down the tree to crash land on the ground at Kairi's feet.

Kairi merely shook her head at Sora's antics and said, "Sora, you silly goose!"

"Nnfgh," replied Sora through a mouthful of dust and dirt, before quickly scrambling up and brushing himself off. "Want to share a paopu fruit?" he asked as soon as he was to his feet again, bringing the yellow, star-shaped fruit out from behind his back.

"You mean you actually got one?!" exclaimed Kairi.

"Yup," grinned Sora as he held it out. "You get first bite.

Kairi laughed as she accepted the fruit. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try!"
