Marco would have a corany if he knew what she was doing. If he found out she had left her own personal torture, if he knew she had broken the rules…many times at that. Any anger he had wouldn't be taken out on her of course, most likely it would be deflected on Lyserg. After all he was the one she broke the rules for.

Jeanne didn't care. She would have broken any rule for him. He was worth it. Sleeping in his arms was the best thing in her world. It was by far better than the sarcophagus. Resting her head against the fabric of his shirt was something she would have chosen over lying down on needles any day.

He was by far the warmest person she had ever met, both in heart and body heat. It was a wonder that his sleeping form was sweating, considering how warm he constantly was.

He was older than her by a few years but now at 15 she didn't care. Besides aren't all those corny romance novel filled with girls being swept off their feet by older men. Age was another thing that bothered people. But it didn't bother her and he lived by the philosophy that age is just number.

She had found the perfect gentlemen ,a breed of man that was becoming especially difficult to find. Sometimes in times of privacy she would wish that he wasn't as much as a gentlemen. That he would push for contact instead of waiting for her to initiate the small touches. Whenever she asked him about it he response was that he wouldn't want to take advantage of her.

Part of the reason she loved him was because when they where alone, almost always holding each other in the deep into the night, he treated her like what she was…a person. Not some invincible savior. He called her Jeanne and asked her if she was okay and ran his fingers through her hair while he told her he loved her. He said everyone needed to be loved by someone even her. Even though she felt the same it was harder for her to express vocally. But when she did…she felt ashamed that she hadn't said it earlier because she realized how much she enjoyed it. How right it felt.

Yes she would have definitely broken the rules, not just hers but the law, for him. He was above and beyond worth it.

"Are you ever going to sleep?" he asked in a sleepy yet amused voice.

"Once I sort through my thoughts." she replied

"What are you thinking about, maybe I can help." questioned Lyserg light-heartedly.

"You." she laughed " and how Marco would freak out if he knew I was here."

This brought laughter to his face to and she was reminded how much she loved his smile and how pleasant the sound of his laugh was.

"Maybe you should think about how much I would like you to sleep." he chuckled.

After their little conversation sleep can easily to her. Dreams of both of them came to her.
