I wanted to do an unexpected pairing, so I decided to try doing Tess and Nate. I know she originally had her eye on Shane, but I mean, I cannot break up Shane and Mitchie. So here's my attempt, enjoy!

She was outgoing. He was shy. She was harsh. He was nice. She had no heart. He had a heart of gold.

But he didn't think so. He didn't think she didn't have a heart.

When she needed him, he was there.

He showed her that friends are worth more than popularity.

In return, she showed him there was more to life outside of work.

Neither one of them was very good at making friends.

She would boss them around. She didn't have friends, she had followers.

He worked too hard to be friends with anyone but the Connect 3 members.

And that was only because they were his siblings.

He didn't have friends. He had fans.

So how did they end up together?

He was the only one who saw past her tough exterior.

He was the only one who realized that that exterior was to protect herself from her mom, and how she hurt her.

No one else understood her as well as she did.

And just the same, she realized why he worked so much.

He was hiding in his work.

And so she found out why.

And cured him of it.

That was why they were now together.

Because with Nate, Tess was a person. A nice, loving person, who made friends, and didn't demean anyone just because.

Because with Tess, Nate could really be himself. He knew she understood him. And he could let down his walls and stop working, to just have fun for a bit.

That was why they were together.

Because they were good together.
