I stretched and yawned. Hm, no Edward, I thought. I looked at the calendar on the wall above my bed. A grin stretched its way across my face. June 20, 2008. The day Edward tries to avoid parties as much as possible. His birthday. We have a party all planed out, silly hat and all. Emmett had even bought a moon bounce for the party. I rolled my eyes at the last thought. Vampires and moon bounces do not mix, more importantly Edward and moon bounces do not mix.
Ring.
Ring.
Ring.
I picked up the phone.
"Hi, Bella!" Alice yelled into the phone.
"Hi, Alice" I replied. "How is the setup coming?"
"Mwahahahahahaha! It will be perfect!"
"Glad to see your enthusiasm." I said.
Silence.
"Oh, Bella, Edward will be at your house in five minutes. Keep him distracted and AWAY from the house. Got it?" She asked.
"Got it. Bye." I hung up the phone.
Evil is fun. Now for a distraction...? Shopping, fake an injury, Movie Theater, or emotional breakdown? Injury is much to complicated, Shopping might work, but what to shop for? If I had an "emotional breakdown", he would probably take me to Jasper or Carlisle. The Movie Theater, perfect!
I was dressed and showered in record time. I walked downstairs and grabbed a bowl when Edward walked down the stairs. He walked up behind me and grabbed my waist, I turned around and he kissed me on the forehead.
"Hello love. What do you want to do today?" He greeted me, his velvet voice soothing me.
"Actually, we are going to the movie theater for your birthday." I said smiling.
He frowned at my mention of his birthday. "Oh, joy." He said sarcastically.
I pouted. "You don't want to go to the movies with me." I was trying very hard not to laugh at his expression, which was half glare, half pout.
Then as he thought further into the movie idea, me sitting next to him in a dark movie theater, he liked the movie than a party, being forced to wear a silly hat, Emmett trying to embarrass him, and Alice fussing over his outfit.
"Actually, I think I like that idea. Let's go." And with that, we drove to Port Angeles.
APOV
"Emmett! If you want to have the moon bounce set it up correctly in the designated area!" I yelled.
I have a complete floor plan for the entire back yard; if that boy messes this up, I am going to hang him by his underwear on the school fag pole! I thought angrily.
Emmett sighed and shifted the moon bounce. I mean, how could he be so stupid?! It was a full inch off!
Then, finally, we were ready. Edward and Bella would be here in five minutes.
EPOV
When we turned into my driveway, I could here my entire family in the back yard. Oh no. Please tell me they didn't. I thought.
I was so distracted that I did not notice Bella putting something on my head until I felt elastic snap against my chin. I took it off, it was a funny hat.
"Oh no." I said.
They dragged me to the back yard and Emmett made me bounce on the moon bounce all night. Then, we dunked the birthday boy in one of those dunk tanks Alice bought online. Surprisingly Bella managed to dunk me twice. Everyone else got me too, forty five times, each.
After making Alice promise to never do that again, I took Bella home and she fell asleep in my arms.
A/N- Hope you enjoyed it Edwards B-day is actually today June 20th. Me and my friends are throwing him a B-day party complete with Character dress-up, mountain lion cake, and pin the tail-pipe on the Volvo. HAPPY B-DAY EDWARD!
