I want to thank the following readers for reviewing:

buddah49, Rebelle Boss,

Most of you have been asking me to post another chapter, well here it is. Enjoy.

Chapter 52

A couple of years later...

Kai pinched the bridge of his nose. All he wanted to do was get to his bed and sleep. The extra hours he was putting in the company were going to pay off soon enough, he knew that. He just had to be patient for now. Opening the front door of his home, Kai hung his coat and removed his shoes. He froze when he heard a light clatter in the direction of the kitchen. Walking towards the room, he braced himself and fisted his hands.

Reaching the kitchen, he looked around but no one was in the room. Why would the kitchen lights be on if no one was present? This did not sit well with him and decided to search the room. He was ready to fight the threat that decided to barge in his home.

Another light clinking sound echoed in the kitchen. He moved around the large counter. Kai spotted the source of all the noise and sighed. "Tsukiko, what are you doing sitting against the kitchen counter and on the floor?"

Tsukiko turned to look up at him and grinned. "Eating and hiding from you."

He looked at all the wrappers and empty plates around her. "That does not look like food. It's junk."

"I had a craving and you were taking too long." Tsukiko pouted. She stabbed her ice cream with her spoon and brought it to her mouth. "Ah! Brain freeze!"

Kai unbuttoned his suit and crouched beside her. He palmed her cheeks and touched her hands. They were freezing cold. He grabbed some plates, stood up and took her ice cream away.

"No Kai! I wasn't finished!" Tsukiko protested as she tried to reach for her ice cream.

He put the ice cream in the freezer. Grabbing some wrappers from the floor, Kai tossed them to the trash before turning back to her. "You are going to get a stomach ache or sick with so much junk."

"It's normal to be hungry all the time Kai." Tsukiko complained as she tried to stand but failed. She sighed and looked around.

Kai walked over to her and placed his hands under her shoulder blades and helped her to her feet. "When you're hungry eat food not junk. Limit yourself Tsukiko."

She sniffle and turned away from Kai. He groaned and turned her around. Her hands were covering her face. "Why are you crying Tsukiko?"

"You're...you're being mean and lec...lecturing me." She cried. "All I did was eat!"

"I am not lecturing you because you ate but because of what you ate. I don't want you getting sick." Kai sighed. "Tsuki you understand this. I want both of you safe and healthy."

Kai's hands moved down her back to rest on her stomach, her round stomach. She looked down at his hands and rested her own on top of his. Looking up at him, she smiled and cupped his left cheek. Kai leaned down and kissed her. He pressed her against him and smirked when he felt a nudge.

Tsukiko groaned and rubbed her stomach. "Calm down sweetheart, dad's home."

Rubbing her stomach, Kai leaned down to it and kissed it. "I'm home princess."

Another round of kicking followed. Tsukiko chuckled. "She seems happy to hear your voice."

Kai stood up and kissed her forehead. "Is her mother as happy?"

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Tsukiko looked up at him. "I'm always happy to see you, hear you, to feel you and hold you."

With a smirk, Kai leaned down to kiss her. He paused and looked over that the entrance of the kitchen. A little pitter patter could be heard. Then someone rushed in. "Mommy I found it!"

Tsukiko pressed a finger to her lips and grinned when Kai looked down at her.

"Dad your home!" The little boy rushed over to them and hugged Kai.

He looked back down to his son and lifted him up to his arms. "Gou shouldn't you be sleeping?"

"Yes but mommy needed help." Gou answered quickly.

"Did she now?" Kai questioned. Tsukiko looked anywhere else but at him. "What did you find for mom Gou?"

Gou hid the bottle behind him. "Nothing dad."

"Give it here Gou." Kai extended his hand. "You know I don't like lying."

Gou handed the bottle to Kai. It was a bottle of chocolate syrup. He scowled at Tsukiko who just grinned. "I had a craving."

"Are you mad at mom, dad?" Gou asked with a look of worry.

"No Gou, I'm not mad at mom. I'm just worried about her." Kai explained as he placed the bottle of chocolate syrup away. "Mom can't eat all this junk food, it's bad for her. She can get sick."

"Really? I don't want mommy to get sick." Gou asked scared.

"Yes, if she eats too much junk food. You can get sick too if you eat too much." Kai warned. "If you eat very little it's fine. Now let's get you to bed."

Kai took Tsukiko's hand and they walked out of the kitchen towards the main stairwell. They walked one step at a time for Tsukiko's sake. Once they were inside Gou's room, Kai set him down on his bed. He got under the bed sheets and smiled up at Tsukiko and Kai.

Sitting down, Tsukiko tucked the sheets around him and kissed his forehead. "Good night my prince. Sweet dreams."

"Good night mom and dad." Gou rubbed Tsukiko's stomach. "Good night imōto."

There was pressure against her stomach and by the smile on Gou's face, she knew that he had felt his sister nudge him. They watched Gou close his eyes and go into a fitful sleep. They closed the door to his room and walked down to their bedroom. Tsukiko sat down on the bed and watched Kai undress. She could see that he was tired and walked over to him.

"Take a shower Kai it will help you get rid of all these knots on your shoulder blades and back." Tsukiko massaged his shoulders and back. "I'll be waiting for you in bed."

Kai kissed her and helped her get into bed before he headed to the bathroom.

- Tsukiko sighed as she caught the sight of the photos standing on the nightstand. It was of their wedding day. Kai was smiling down at her as he held her close to him. She was looking right back up at him, lost in his smile. It was one of the most treasured moments of her life. The rest were mostly of Gou. From when he was born to his last birthday party when he turned three. There was another photo that brought a smile to her face. It was the latest ultrasound photo that the doctor had given them of their daughter.

"I can't wait to meet you, sweetheart." Tsukiko ran hand over her stomach.

A hand rested on her stomach. Looking up, she found Kai starring down at her. "I can't wait to meet her either."

Kai went around and got in bed with her. He covered them both and brought her close to him. She sighed and relaxed in his embrace. "Do you mean it?"

"Yes, I do." Kai rubbed her back. "I can see her as miniature version of you."

She giggled. "I remember when I told you that I pictured Gou as a miniature you and he looks exactly like you."

"Have you come up with names for her?" Kai asked as he rubbed her shoulders.

Tsukiko looked up at him and smiled. "I did."

Kai paused and looked down at her. "What is it?"

"Tsukishiro." She waited for Kai to say something but he didn't. "You don't like it."

He nodded. Kai could picture his daughter running around and being called by that name. "It will fit her."

She smiled and hugged Kai as close as her body would allow it. "I wanted to continue the line. My mother was named Tsukihana and my father named me Tsukiko in her honor."

"Let's keep honoring her memory." Kai agreed.

Minutes passed in silence.

"Kai?" She whispered.

"Yes Tsuki?" He looked down at her.

"I want to thank you for giving me all of this joy." She cupped his face between her hands. "I never thought I could ever be so full of happiness."

"There is nothing for you to thank me for." Kai ran his fingers down her face.

She shook her head. "I need to thank you for giving me such a wonderful family, a home and your love."

"I thank you as much as you are thanking me." Kai kissed each of her hands. "You are mine as much as I am yours. For now and always."

Kai leaned down and kissed her.

He needed to thank for everything in his life from the moment he met her. She changed his life. Tsukiko gave him something he never thought he needed or would come to need, love. She had given him a son and they had a daughter on the way. Tsukiko had gifted him with a family and he would thank her for it every day of their lives.

"I love you Kai."

"And I you Tsukiko." Kai pressed a kiss on her forehead and smiled when he felt their daughter nudge them.

So here's a little something for all of you readers who have been asking me to write a little more on this couple. It is as much as I can write on them.

I am in the works of writing another Kai/Tsukiko story. It's a new story line. It has most all of the characters from this story but with new twists and turns. They will be adults, some with children and others in the works of it. I have written a couple of chapters down but I want to have enough so that I can post one chapter every week. I know that most of you will enjoy because I am having a blast writing it. Look for it later this year!

Thanks to all of you readers!
