Interlude - Moosh

"Hi there," a feminine voice breathed huskily into Cedric's ear. Startled, Cedric looked up.

"Oh, hi Hermione," Cedric said as casually as he could. There was something strange about the way that the brassy Gryffindor was looking at him that made him feel unnerved, in a good way.

"I want you Cedric."

The comment was accompanied with an intense glance of her golden eyes through thick lashes. Blushing deeply Cedric desperately willed his voice not to break as he replied to the bold comment from a usually demure girl.

"You do?" He was flooded with immediate relief that his voice was steady, but then followed the relief with a mental kick for the pathetic response.

"Yeah." She tickled his ear. "I really want you. I can't do it by myself, so I need you."

"I want you too 'Mione, but, isn't this place too public?" Cedric gasped, finally unable to hold back his teenaged hormones.

"It's the library, where else would I want to be?" she asked seductively, tracing a finger along the nape of Cedric's neck.

The poor boy was unable to even keep his hands still. They snaked around Hermione's slim form as he turned in his chair to embrace the bold brunette. Hermione's smile was one that spoke of a predator which knew its prey had no power to escape from its clutches. "I want you to do something for me, right now," she whispered into his trembling ear.

"Anything," breathed Cedric, leaning forward as Hermione does, their lips closing on each other.

He lets his eyes close in anticipation.

"Cedric, I really want you so badly to…"

"Yes?" he murmured, still waiting for the inevitable, wishing the moment would come.

"I need you to get that book again. It's stuck."

AN: Yes I know it's horrible to get poor Cedric's hopes up, but you must admit it's hilarious in its own way.

If you're confused as to which book it's the one from Bitch aka His Cheshire Cat Grin. This is just a funny interlude that I thought could happen because, well Cedric is still a teenage boy, and therefore all too able to be manipulated.
