His heart beat in his ears as DG held him. She opened her arms to him and asked him sweetly to lay with her...

He couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right, the way his heart fluttered in his chest, the way he held her close, but love didn't always feel perfect. The heartbeat, after all was the drum of drums, the song of songs.

Glitch stared at a lovely bouquet across the room from where he cuddled. He watched as a petal fell off of the rose's hip and drifted alone to the marble desktop. His eyes floated to the window, watching the clouds drift by... the dark clouds... the black clouds.

She whispered warmly in his ear. Poetry, prose, praise, love.

Once I had the rarest rose that

ever deigned to bloom.

Cruel winter chilled the balm,

And stole my flower too soon

O loneliness, O hopelessness

To search the ends of time,

For there is in all the world

No greater love than mine...

She asked him fervently to be hers... and began to graze something sharp against his pulse point. "Let me be the only one to keep you from the cold..." He squeezed his eyes shut as that something sharp... those somethings sharp... popped through his skin. She drank his energy as though she was parched, merely lapping a little at the crimson life that leaked generously down his neck and over his collar bone.

He blinked nervously and held her tightly, the energy coming off of DG was making him glitch like mad but he did his best to hide it and soon he lay there with her... much like before... but now he was hers as she wanted it. Forever.
